The only major media guy who is picking the Rams this week is David Steel of the Sporting News. He says Rams 21-17, but the quote is classic:
"With their tough-yet-inconsistent play on the field and their obvious chaos off of it (no matter what Jed York keeps saying), the 49ers have been asking for it for the last two weeks. If Austin Davis gets off to a good start — not his habit so far — the visitors could finally pay."
See that? "no matter what Jed York keeps saying" It just doesn't matter for some of these media hacks. If the people involved say something that doesn't fit with their approved media narrative, they ignore it, pretend it didn't happen or simply dismiss it.

I want to see the defense pummel a back up for once instead of letting him shine. Ahmad Brooks pleas come to play. Rams pass defense has been good but there run defense is trash. Gotta get Ellington or Lloyd one on one with Jenkins and go deep
