Culliver did a great job on Marshall two years ago when Chicago came to SF. I think Brock will be fine on Jeffery.

Yeah but that was also with Jason Campbell as QB.

Too be far, Culter is capable of making some dumb mistakes just as Campbell did.

last time cutler played in candlestick he threw 5 picks IIRC

Cutler has the bad habit of throwing off his back foot. I can see 2 to 3 picks coming Sunday.
Mike & Mike just said that the 49ers are not even in the same class/level as the Seahawks. That there is no team at their level.

do you agree?

After week 1, maybe. The niners still need to prove they can beat a legit playoff team this season. Seattle DL and OL were unstoppable. Our DL and OL were getting pushed back most of the day. If Kaep wasn't mobile, he would have been sacked more often than none. As far as offense is concerned GB has a better offense than Dallas and Seattle pretty much shut them down. The next couple of games will tell, at least in my opinion.

Don't forget that a good amount of the starters on both lines weren't playing for the Niners. Also, Green Bay isn't all that good, so it shouldn't be surprising that Seattle looked unstoppable against them in week 1 at home. I think if we get to week 5 and Seattle is undefeated and the Niners are struggling then the talking heads will have a little more credibility when they talk of the inevitable repeat

Happy for everyone to think this. Certainly regarding class there is no comparison between the teams.

What exactly do you need to be "told?" That the 49ers are the best team in football? Right now they are just trying to get by without two all pros on defense and will be getting back two pro bowlers on offense next week. This team will look much different in week 16 than in week 1,2,3 or 4.

Seattle is completely healthy, which is good for them, but again they won't have the same roster week 16. Hell, they probably look much different on thanksgiving.

Point being, comparing SF to Seattle right now isn't really valid. You just have to look at individual performances early on and make sure people improve from one week to the next.

Today, we are not. But we do not play them today, now do we? Let the season unfold, we will get them when we are ready and healthy.

As much as I'm trying to hold down the vomit, Seattle is the best team in the league at this point in time.

The key thing being this point in time. Last time at this point in the season, it was Denver (with Manning thrown 7 tds).

The point is that things change over the course of a season.

Did someone steal our brand spanking new stadium and take it to Chicago?

He was sacked five times as well, IIRC correctly. I think three were by Aldon.

Let's see who would be better right now:

A team that has 99% of its starters or a team decimated by injuries (two lb's, right side of oline, both starting cb's, NT).

It's just week one...
Hopefully the field is up to par. We don't need anymore injuries. Its a long season
