Nope, just a very low ceiling right now.
for all of the the 'sky isnt falling' posts, ppl need to realize what we're up against. sure seattle lost yesterday but thats generally not going to be the case. this is a race to see who can win the division. last yr it was 12-4 and they were 13-3. 1 s**tty performance can be the difference in playing road playoff games just to earn the chance to play in seattle again. every game counts.
Sucks
Gotta beat Arizona and Payton will take care of cheattle... Next Sunday we will be on top of our division... Book it!

Yup this, you have to hold serve at home because our road schedule is tougher than theirs. They get all their tough opponents at home. We might be tied in the standings, but we might as well be a game back already, which means we'll have to go through Seattle to get anywhere in the playoffs, if we even get there. Does anyone really trust Crapernick to win at Seattle after the crap show he pulled last night?
In Kaepernick€™s relatively short tenure as San Francisco€™s starting quarterback, 49ers fans have seen both the good and the bad.
There are times, such as in the first half Sunday night, when he looks like the best in the NFL. His passes have zip and accuracy, he escapes pressure, he makes all the right reads and he€™s the most dangerous running quarterback in the league.
And then there are other times €" such as late in Sunday night€™s defeat €" when he suddenly loses his accuracy and those bullet passes bury themselves into defenders€™ hands.
After Sunday night€™s debacle, scores of memes flooded the Internet, laying blame on Kaepernick and poking fun at his distress, posted by frustrated 49ers fans and diehard 49ers haters. One showed a Bears fan choking with the phrase, €Å"Kaepernicking.€ Another had a smiling Kaepernick saying, €Å"I accepted the INT Challenge. Thank you Tony Romo.€ And a third showed former 49ers starter Alex Smith, now in Kansas City, with the slogan, €Å"Oh man. Miss me yet?€
Kaepernick mostly has had highs in his career. He has an 18-7 regular-season record and has taken his team to two NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl and his career QB rating is 93.0.
But every now and then, Kaepernick has a stinker. Sunday night was one of his worst. After posting a QB rating of 125.5 vs. Dallas, he plummeted to 57.0 vs. the Bears. He completed 21-of-34 passes for 248 yards and a TD, and also rushed for 66 yards, but threw three interceptions and lost a fumble.

he was a big part of that but also were the players who committed stupid fouls especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Where are the guys who were smiling when Dial nailed his crown in Cutler's chest now? Hm? Two another key penalties were on Lemonier and Cox, iirc. And on Johnson.
And plz don't come around with rookies...they know the rules and they played by most of these rules in college.

I keep my prediction: with Kap and even perhaps with Harbs in regime, we won't win the SB.

That was my prediction as well, as soon as Harbaugh stuck the knife in Alex's back and made the switch I knew we were in trouble.
Unfortunately, I expressed that opinion one too many times and got banned, lol. For a while there you couldn't lay a glove on Kapow here in the zone, I'm glad to see they've starting allowing some real criticism.
I'm still in shock we made that financial commitment to this defiler of the throne once held by Montana/Young. I can't wait till this era is over. We choke entirely too much with Kapow at the helm.

Baptism by fire for Kap. They're trying to see if he's up for the challenge, and so far the answer is a resounding NO. He's not ready to shoulder that type of passing load. O-line was s**t down the stretch, but that's no excuse of any of his 4 turnovers. Agree Roman should have stuck with the run game. No reason to abandon it when we were up 6, and then down 1.

Baptism by fire?
We should have done that BEFORE mortgaging our future on him. Smh
BTW -- wtf was Eric Reid doing against Bennett in the end zone when he got burned for the TD?

Looks like he slipped on the turf.
