Aside from Justin, we don't seem to have any real pass rushing threat right now.
Maybe Vic has to come up with some creative, well-timed blitzes as a temporary solution.

Maybe we should take some notes from Todd Bowles, Cards DC. Cards have inferior pass-rushing talent compared to us IMO. He dials up some creative blitzes and does it well. Won them the game last week as a matter of fact. Fangio would have sat in off-man and allowed the other team to matriculate down the field while the 4-man rush is ineffective.

I could only listen to the radio broadcast while on the road. How legit were the penalties? Seems like an egregious number of penalty calls for both sides, especially on us when they got back into the game (kind of like last week against DAL in the 2nd half). Were the players really committing so many penalties, or was the NFL calling ticky tack b******t once again?

The sheer number was terrible. I think the hold that negated franks 50 yarder was the worst. Boldin didn't hold anyone. The second half ones sucked because they extended drives and kept the bears in the game. They were ticky-tack IMO.

On that first INT by fuller, it looks like Crab got it but Fuller just took it away and ball fell on his side.

Most were correct. Accountability at the coaching level is stuck on "off."

There were some that were legit but there were some that were ridiculous, the "hold" by Boldin on gores td run being one of them

That hit on Cutler was a clean hit, was it not?

Can't lead with the crown. That's a rule going back to pop warner.

Which is why he actually did a pretty damn good job blocking tonight??
Meh.

Agree. He's an asset as a blocker with his size and movement skills. Have to work on those hands though. The drop he had was weak.
Forget the penalties. Kap threw THREE interceptions and fumbled. We won't beat anyone if our qb doesn't play much much better.

We had great seats (45 yard line a few rows behind Niners bench). Kap wasn't seeing open wrs and when he did see them it was too late. It was like the game was too fast for him. He was staring down receivers and his throwing motion was taking way too long. He made it easy for the bears defense.

The redzone play calling and Kaps performance in the redzone was dog s**t.

hated seeing fuller do so well and ward getting torched. He looked every bit the player a lot of us thought he would be.
McDonald was dropping passes during pregame warm ups. Also noticed Ellington struggling to field punts during warm ups.

Were the WRs open intermediate downfield or short range?
