very well, if we drafted a QB he might look good enough to be a #2 in a couple years. not this year.
Exactly why keeping Colt was part of that plan.
I know looking back is dumb but with Boone still holding out, keeping Kap healthy is vital. And if he goes down I dont think we can win 1 game with these other guys.

Yea Harbaughs going to have to tighten it up after this.

It's fine but I would like to see the starters come back and play a full quarter before the regular season. They need to get the bugs out as well. Little concerned when Aldon leaves how much pressure the back ups will get. I like Lemonier but I have to say Lynch is a freak and may help out on 3rd downs a little more he can also stop the run. Other than that the O line played well minus Davis. Looney looked good Frank ran behind them on the first play. Pass protection was a lot better this game all the way down the line.
Nobody got seriously hurt Bethea will be fine. If Gabbert is our biggest concern at the end of the preseason we should be in great shape. Kap looks night and day better compared to last year reading the field and that WAS the biggest concern coming into the year. D line stopped the run much better. Craig Dahl still sucks and I would like to see more PT for the young S rather than the ST only guys who suck back there.
I also want to see Dobbs and Purcell playing at the end of games instead of Dial and Tank they don't need to get hurt in preseason. The O will have to carry us early which they will until Bow and Aldon get back. We are going to be fine lots of talent and youth which mean early mistakes. I love this team we are going to be lights out when December rolls around.

I do not want to see Craig Dahl play safety for the Niners anymore. He totally sucks donkey balls. He is always out of position or getting torched! I cringe when I see 43 in a game even if it is preseason. One of the younger guys like McCray or Ward(if he isn't playing nickel) should be better than this bum!

I would Welcome Tim Tebow with open arms. There is no way with a straight face anyone can tell me Blaine Crabbert or Josh is as good as Tim Tebow. No effing WAY!! Tebow tomorrow.
Josh Johnson and Blaine Gabbert are miles ahead of Tebow...
(that was pretty easy)
Tim Tebow has more NFL Wins then Both these scrubs combined not to mention more playoff wins then these 2 scrubs combined, Can you add or subtract?
No I can watch football...
Go back and watch the previous 58 minutes of any Tebow NFL win, then examine whether Tebow won that game or his defense. Tebow is such a good QB they moved him to punt protector and tried him at TE... he must be amazing!
Put down the crack pipe buddy and learn2football.
Your Right Tim Tebow never won the Heisman
Your Right Tim Tebow never beat the Steelers on a 80 yard Pass to D Thomas vs the #1 ranked defense that year.
Your right Tim Tebow never won a National Championship x2
Your right Tim Tebow never played in the NFL
Your right Tim Tebow doesn't have more wins then Gabbert
Your right Tim Tebow never won 7 games in a row in 2011
I was saying Tebow for a while now. Maybe Harbs had some unfinished business and wants to suit up
PS: it's "you're"

Yeah, we'll get somebody after cutdowns. We are not trading for anyone.

Pre-season or not that sucked!!! It seemed that it was a neutral field being it's the first time 49ers played in it. I know we didn't show anything on offense , but my real concern is our secondary.

That was terrible..regardless that its a pre-season, or the vanilla game planning ,or what ever anyone wants to call it,, that was disappointing. But there are some positives....the field is new....
