He wasn't the same the last 2 years, his feet were messed the crap up. Just because its not a neck injury or dislocated hip doesn't make it not career ending.

If I'm understanding this correctly, all players quit and are quitters by your definition then. Some don't have the physical abilities, others the mental state to go through another season.
