Fans! you are responsible for yelling and making life difficult for the visiting team when they are on offense. Do your job or give your tickets to a inner fan who will.

I was in the stadium for the game. I cheered my ass off. I lost my voice cheering so hard. You should be ashamed of yourself for not being there. It's fans like you that piss me off. Making a blanket statement to all fans in attendance like not a single one of us was cheering. Do your job as a fan and get your ass to the game instead of sitting on your couch and expecting everybody else to do the work.

I watched on TV just like I did the Dallas game. Maybe you cheered your ass off. Bottom line is, as a whole the fans knowing when and how to cheer is silly. I can't believe this is even a discussion. It's clear to tell on TV how loud the stadium is.
I watched the entire Denver game you could hear every word Peyton said.
I couldn't hear Romo in his own house. I also couldn't hear most of wut Kap said at Levi's, sad.

Fact.
The 40% of road fans at the Dallas game were 10x louder than the 70% of home fans at Levi's

It was loud at times, but still has room for improvement. Saw lots of fans standing quietly. I am thinking they might as well sit down. Still a lot of dodo birds that cheer when the niners are playing offense. Hopefully, all of these fairweather fans can be taught, but only time will tell.
I hate this. Just listen to the difference. For as much of a gimmick the 12th man flag raising is, it gets that crowd amped. I despise Seattle as much as the next guy, but I wish we had something like that.

it takes some time to get a home settled in.

I guarantee CLink wasn't that loud on their first game

You're probably right. We should just steal some college tradition to get the fans fired up

Perhaps Clemson's?
We sat near the south endzone. It was very loud, certainly louder than the 'Stick. Are you clowns aware of the fact that the network broadcasters adjust the volume level of the crowd noise so that their announcers can be heard clearly? Enough with the loudness nonsense, especially if you were not even at the game....

I'm sure they do that for Seattle's games too but I can still tell when its 3rd down for the opposing teams because people are screaming their heads off. I can tell it has an effect because Kaep has to scream his lungs out to say the play in the huddle when we plays the Seahawks. I'm not asking for our fans to maniacal like the 12th man (even though it would be nice, I know I scream my head off and bang on the seats), I just want the visiting team to feel our fans a little when they play here. Jay Cutler had no probs audibling, making checks, or calling the plays....and I blame that on US fans.

It was electric in the first half but it seemed like the noise level waned as the game wore on. I think the fans ran out of gas because of the constant interruption by penalties and reviews etc, not to mention our crappy play. Nothing to cheer about and then finally stunned silence as we realized we had blown the game and were about to lose...

I would imagine its hard to be loud with so many flags ruining the flow of the game.

Niners now have the hornblower gimmick before games, it was introduced during the denver preseason game.

Oh cool. I didn't know that. So nevermind me, I'm just speaking out of my a$$ lol

I'm in AZ so I don't get to many niner games in CA but we do our best to take over the cardinals stadium. Most of the time it's worked.

Fair point... I guess I'll be able to see for myself when I go to a couple games later in the season.

If I spent 200+ on a ticket to watch refs throw flags, I wouldn't be too cheerful myself.
