if he continues his play like this every game the rest of the season, he'll win defensive player of the year...who cares that he didn't start the entire season...it's voting the best player who deserves the award...clearly...its borland...although if Dontae Johnson started, I think he'd make a case too

This. If he keeps racking up tackles and turnovers, I don't see how you cannot make him DROY.
Borland has 50 solo tackles, a sack, 2 INT's in 4 starts.
Barr has 50 solo tackles and 4 sacks in 10 starts.
Mosley has 58 solo tackles, 2 INT's in 10 starts
Mack has 44 solo tackles, 1 sack in 10 starts.
