wheres ken dorsey, the master of dink and dunk
I wouldn't let gab on the field with the OL we currently have. Nor any other qB we might think of keeping. Doing that is just asking for a qB injury and sure as the sun comes up in the east, it is going to happen again. Pears, martin, devey.....those guys cannot be on the field if gab plays QB. They are endangerig a qbs good health by making him play behind those guys.

QB coach for Cam Newton.
Go look up JTO's first 3 games as a 9er...pretty good. Then reality set in and...dumpster fire.

There was a time when people here thought the line was adequate and the QB was the reason why the line was so bad. Everything was blamed on the QB. A least now more people are seeing just how terrible the line is. One QB got injured and career is now in limbo...I can't see Gabbert staying healthy.

No, everyone knew the OL sucked, but the QB wasn't helping matters.

That is true. The oline is, and was, terrible. But so was the play behind center.

And still isn't... dude is trash. I've seen enough! Bring in a vet and draft a new QB. Sorry Gabbert fans, he's not even worthy to hold the spot for the next man.
While Gabbert played well in his first couple of starts, I tried not to get too excited because a lot of backup quarterbacks look good when they first step in only for their level of performance to drop as teams start game-planning for them. Unfortunately, the same thing seems to hold true for Blaine. He's getting progressively worse with every match he plays.

His stat line is terrible right now, but both of those passes were tipped by McDonald. They were fantastic throws, but ended up being INTs. While I don't htink he much better than average, I am still in the boat that he could be serviceable while they groom a rookie

Soon susweel, Soon. We will soon be watching the draft, Cheering when we announce the QB pick. But not before we fire Tomsula

And why do you think that is? Cmon man. The entire team SUCKS! Everyone is playing terribly. You think they just suck or the pathetic coaching staff has something to do with it? Line is trash, but the QB should overcome that along with no running game and terrible playcalling and a bad gameplan?

All the things that people said about Kaep this year I can use on Blaine. How he's regressing, how the offense is too complex for him, how teams have figured him out, how HE is making everyone around him worse. I could say all that....I won't though since I know the entire team is s**t and while I hate the fact that he's afraid to throw the ball past 5 yards, the staff is a HUGE problem. There is't a QB out there that could play in this trash.
