The playoff pressure is going to be too much for Scam Newton and this very young D

If Ahmad Brooks wasnt flagged on that legit sack/fumble to Brees, we would have.

Maybe old Candlestick have a couple of magic left and the Saints beats the Seahawks.
Wouldn't that be sweet?
and VD did not play the first game !

49ers can win this game 100% if these things happen.
1) win turnover battle.
2) Move the pocket on passing plays to avoid that Carolina pass rush
3) Use quick throws, again to limit the pass rush
4) Dont give up the big paly (our def is good at this) and make Cam drive 10+ plays to score points.
Both teams have to deal with QB running the ball and i expect both QBs to convert ket 3rd downs for 1st downs.

How many players were we missing when we played them week 10? I know Crabtree for sure and I know VD got injured early in that game and it was Aldon Smith's 1st game back. Did Ray McDonald play?

He has potential to do so as a return man. Our special teams must hold him in check. We should shut him down as a receiver.

Let me guess, Deion "Colored Commentary" Sanders?
Yep. He also said the Niners may as well not show up. Plus he said Carolina has the best inside linebacker in the league.
Deon is a tool. He is part of the reason why I am not a fan of nfl network. The guys on NFL Live on ESPN are way better.

This is going to be a battle. Hope were ready they did beat us earlier but if I remember correctly that was with VD out? Plus no crabs, KW as out returner and a struggling Kap. We are A LOT different now.
Oh and f**k Deion. Guys a tool

Agreed. I enjoy NFL live and Sunday Countdown coverage more than NFL networks. NFL network has some guys I like like Rich Eisen and Eric Davis. But it also has guys I hate like Deion and Mike Mayock. It's like that with every network, but I like sunday countdown's coverage as a whole better.

Carolina fan here. Sorry to interrupt the Seagull trolls that hijacked the thread but wanted to actually talk about the upcoming game. Despite the rose colored glasses 49er fans are seeing on the Carolina message board, I think anyone looking at the game realistically should think it will be a tough match.
San Francisco is a very tough football team as demonstrated by the first meeting at Candlestick. The worry from a Panther perspective is that they are now a tough team that is much more healthy than when we last played. I think Kap was off his game that day. In fact no disrespect but he looked plain awful. Some of that was due to a tough D being in his face but a lot was definitely due to the lack of weapons. Yesterday, however. he looked like a playoff QB. That said would see your team being much more dynamic on offense and just as nasty on Defense.
From a Carolina perspective I think our defense has gotten a bit stronger with the secondary getting a lot more reps sense the last meeting which is good for us because they will need it to contend with Crabtree and the rest of your receivers. The Carolina offense is the biggest worry coming into this game. We do need a healthy Steve Smith because if you saw the Atlanta game it is clear that Smith elevates the play of the other receivers. Last word is that he is running pain free but with the PCL it is not the straight running but the cutting that is problematic. A lot of people outside of Carolina hate Smith but no matter what you have to admit he is a tough SOB. That said, I think he will be ready for Sunday. Aside from Smith, Stewart, who has been banged up should be back which gives the Panthers another pass catching threat out of the backfield.
Not predicting what will happen but I think the keys to a Panther victory are for Cam to make things happen with his legs and for the D to hold Cap in check with 4 man pressure. I do think it will be a close and well fought game.
Hoping for an entertaining and injury free game.
