SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS. CAROLINA PANTHERS GAMEDAY THREAD (Divisional Round)

Now this is going to be a tough game. Against the Packers, we moved the ball at will, that's not going to be the case this week. Panther's defense is legit, our offense needs to step it up a notch against these guys. Gooo Niners!

For realz. Ok, we won, but against a team that defensively stinks...and without their 2nd CB for most of the game. Very concerning. I think we're gonna need at least 24 points to beat Carolina next week. Hopefully, HaRoman have something special saved up their sleeves for the next game(s)...

Crabs changes so much for the 49ers. I would be surprised if the 49ers don't score in the upper 20's to 30's against the panthers. I don't expect Kap to have as many rushing yards next week, the panthers use a spy on nearly all offensive snaps and they do a decent job in keeping him in the pocket. I do expect kap to pass for more yards and Gore/hunter to have a decent ground game.

If our front four gets the pressure like did they the last then our secondary is good as any in the league. But if Kaep has time they can be exposed like any secondary. A secondary is only as good as their front will allow them to be. That's with any team. No matter how good they are. But our secondary has been exposed at times down field by speed WRs. But other then that we keep every thing in front of us they will knock your block when they get the chance.

I'm just glad we don't have to play in frigid temperatures anymore. Kap will light up Carolina with big games from Frank, Vernon, Crabs and Boldin.

Does anyone have a legitimate answer for why were the most hated team by both fox sports and nfln analysts?

I must be getting a different feed from NFLN, they been talking good about us, nowhere did I hear anyone say we can't hang with Carolina, in fact most of the talk was about what a game this was gonna be. Hell Deon even mentioned that Crabtree was gonna be a difference maker and the other guy pointed out that we were missing VD and Crabtree in the last matchup. I don't know why you guys are getting so touchy when the coverage isn't %100 niners. We got our due on both ESPN & NFLN, they cut to Rodgers at the podium because it was the last time he gets any airtime because we sent his lame ass packin home to watch the playoffs from his lazyboy.

This will make games in Carolina, Seattle, and New Jersey feel like spring weather.

I know I was a little nervous about GB, I'm a bit more nervous at Carolina. They have a legit D and historically, the Niners had problems with teams with legit D's.

We ate up CHI in the 80s. We are the better team and we will win. This is only for the tough and we've been here before

Crabtree and LMJ will be the difference maker this time around.
