Staley played a little TE in college, right? He looks pretty natural at catching in both of the times he's been targeted in my recent memory...

Both Iupati and Goodwin need a good game on Sunday. But I'm more worried about our lack of pass rush. Where has it gone of late? What's odd is Fangio has done a great job of rotating D line in all year so I can't imagine they are tired?
If the D line plays like they did against Carson Palmer it could be a LONG day in GB.

As a lifetime packer fan, we are very lucky to host a playoff game after the disaster this season has been. Niners are tough, best team in NFC. Yes, I said it, we fear the niners here in wisconsin more than Seattle. You have the best defensive player in football (Patrick Willis), and the supporting cast is top notch. However, 8-7-1 is not what the packers are, so please, get that thought out of your head that this is going to be an easy game. Weather forecasts currently have the forecast at 12 degrees with snow. That might change, and we may have a warm front come through, and it could be in the thirties. I have lived in Milwaukee my whole life, parents are from north go Green Bay, and every winter, it takes me about 2 weeks to adjust to the cold, your California boys will not be at their best. It will be in your heads.... A bit. I think the game hinges on the niners front seven against gb running game. If the pack can get some first downs, control the clock, and force sf to bring up a safety, they can do some damage. Rogers is the best QB in the league, and he can pick your secondary apart. However, running against your front seven will be difficult, very difficult. Gore, is old. Kappernick is good, but he will not have the cakewalk that he had last year. The packs defense is bad. But, is capable of shutting down the run. We will see, but, this was the worst draw for the niners. They should win, but I think gb has a fighting chance; especially, with Rogers and Cobb back. Also, don't worry about Lacy's ankle. He has been putting up 100 yard rushing days no problem. With all that said, if you win on Sunday, congrats; I wish you the best. I like and respect the niners. Unlike the other teams in NFC playoffs, they have tradition and have actually accomplished some remarkable feats in nfl history. Seattle fans still think they beat gb last year. What a joke. They got beat and can't admit it. Their teams plays in the artificially loud stadium and consequently, have a remarkable unfair noise advantage which their team was built around. However, enough about them, good luck on Sunday.

The pass rush has Been 90% bull rush....why ..no clue
But we could be changing that for the playoffs

I don't think anyone thinks this will be an easy game. That said, I like our team on the ground in the snow over yours. You guys NEED Rodgers to pass. We only need Gore and Kap to run.
And Lambeau is not that loud, is it?

Good Points. But I don't think anyone thinks a game against Aaron Rodgers and company is ever easy

I don't think our pass rush is as good as 2011 when we just sent 4. McDonald and Justin played at a different level 2 years ago. When a QB starts to get comfortable like Ryan and Palmer did, we need more creative blitzing.
Did anyone watch the Panthers/Falcons game? Yes, Carolina's D line was on point, but some of their blitz schemes were very nice. They sent guys you wouldn't expect.

I'm loving the Quinton Patton block, it padded an extra 40 yards to that run.
The boy just wants to play! Lets hope Manningham's injury is a blessing in disguise.
Loved how he was defending Kap after he took that hit when he was sliding. Dude was taking a guy twice as big as him lol
Not scurr'd!!
