That one thing is our OL getting off the ball upon snap. It was obvious we were a hair of a second slow in SEA where it appeared the SEA DL was on our side of the LOS by the time our OL were ready to block.

With an even playing field, our OL will dominate. However, I still think their Backers and DB's matchup better vs our offense than our backers and DB's do vs their offense.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Homefield plays a significant role and should not be understated. You are aware that SEA hasn't lost at home in nearly two years? I think you have to give credit where credit is due and their fans and stadium design has given their defense a significant advantage when opposing offenses have to communicate by hand signals and whatnot.

As for our backers and DBs, these guys have played off the charts all year. Not only do we have the best LB corps in the league (without question) our DBs have played better than they have in over a decade or longer. We've given up very little through the air. Containing Lynch and Wilson on the run are my biggest worries.

You're talking about your DB's playing better than your DB's have played in a decade, right? Serious question, wasn't sure about the context there.

You DL is about to get dominated. No head start for them this Sunday.

Our backfield has performed better than any backfield we've had in a long time.

I'm not comparing how Tremaine Brock is playing compared to how he played on his junior varsity high school team.

That's not what I meant but you answered my question none the less.
Reading the alt uni thread on top of the NT forum, are we wearing alt jerseys or not
same ref crew that threw out J. Smith 3 years ago, gross

The game will be called by same ref who missed the call against Tomlin last week and picked up the PI flag in the Pats game a couple weeks ago. Lets hope he doesn't throw a flag if Brooks knocks the midget back to the stone age. Looks like our record is 0-2-1 in games he was a ref including the terrible ejection of Justin Smith a few years back.

Setting up nicely. All we need now is Jerome Boger leading them and all of us expecting his well-organized crew of disregarding every rule in the entire NFL rulebook. And then Mike "The Coverup" Pereira to justify every move, "10 out of 10 times that's a penalty." Best line EVER!

Ain't that some b******t. f**k that crew. I was so pissed when Justin Smith was ejected for swiping off that refs arm when he was digging his elbow into Smiths chest. Meanwhile Cary Williams can push the s**t out of a ref in the Superbowl and not even get flagged..

AND launch the crown of his helmet up into the FACE of Crabtree (defenseless) on the final 1st and goal-series with a sideline ref standing right there watching the whole thing...just feet away. No call. Crabtree all but admitted he had a concussion after that. I'm genuinely surprised the concussion protocol wasn't performed to be honest with you; that was my very first thought after it happened. If it had...that would have forced Crabtree out of the game and would have forced HaRoMan to go somewhere else. Ahhhhhh it's a killer!

Yeah I remember Crabtree talking about how he lost vision for a while after that hit. Such b******t how much we got jobbed in that Superbowl. That hit, holding on Crabs on final play, two guys picking up Bruce Miller on Jacobys kickoff return. How do you miss such obvious calls right in front of you? Ray Lewis going out on top baby.. Such b******t.
I don't think the 9ers will change their defense against the run and I think it will be relatively effective at stopping Lynch. I say "relatively effective" because he will probably still end up with several dozen yards, but I don't think he will be able to produce yards consistently on any one drive. I agree with those that say stopping Lynch on a third and one or two yards isn't likely to happen, but the 9er defense is as likely as anyone to make a stop in such a situation so you never know on any given play. To stop Wilson what they need to do is not let themselves be pushed off of their gap responsibility and to get as much straightforward collapsing of the pocket as they can. One thing J. Smith says he can still do is bull rush and in this game I think his bull rush may be just the ticket to collapsing Wilson's pocket from the inside and as long as A. Smith and Brookes keep their outside containment, even Wilson may have a hard time squirming out in time to make something happen. Dorsey and Ray Mac have also shown the ability to get a bull rush going sometimes as well. Fangio may break his inclination to stay with only the starters and rotate in Jerrod Eddie, Dobbs and Lemonier so that there's always fresh bodies pushing up against the Hawks offensive line (he seems to have developed a fair amount of confidence is Skuta as well). I think those guys have shown that he (Fangio) doesn't have to be overly concerned with those guys in the line-up. Over the course of the game, they could wear the Hawks offensive line out - especially since the Hawks are coming off of a short week and on the road (plus the offensive line is probably the "weakest" part of their team).

Anyone else worried about how stubborn all our coaches are? Vic Fangio, Greg Roman, and Jim Harbaugh all seem to be pretty damn stubborn and insist to run with the same game plan no matter what. They don't seem to adapt very well.

How classless is this piece of s**t? Slapping Jim Harbaugh on the butt after beating us. I'll tell you what, he's built up so much damn Karma it's not even funny. I have a feeling he will be coming down to earth very soon. What goes around comes around Dick Sherman. You'll get yours you punk ass..

he slapped his butt and said "good game." there was nothing classless about that. Now, afterwards, when he accused harbaugh of ignoring him or whatever, that was childish. but there was nothing wrong with the act itself.

I am tired of this guy. I hope he looks like a fool this weekend and has to return to Seattle with his foot in his mouth.

LOL do you really think the act of him slapping Harbaugh's butt was him showing good sportsmanship? No he obviously did it to antagonize Harbaugh, especially considering their history. He's a punk ass that doesn't know how to win with class and act like he's been there before.

Oh, I see. You're ready to pounce on a comparison against the Cawks backfield. You won't find that from me. I realize how steroids have turned average players into stars up north.
