I am getting tired of watching Kap. party it up on the sidelines after every T. Dude needs a little more leadership quality.
But, on the positive side, he took off on the ground fast a couple of times, that was good. Passed it to RB. Yay. Finally.
Still needs lots more maneuvarability out of the pocket. Watching Roethlisburger Thursday really showed a contrast. He is way slower but 10x more nimble extending plays in the pocket. He avoids everything. Kap avoids nothing. Why is that?

We're talking about Greg Roman constantly running draw plays when it's 3rd and 10-15 yards. I'm sick of that. Stop coddling CK and let him play like a man instead of calling/playing the game like a bunch of pansies. Manning and Alex Smith today both converted several 3rd and long plays. I'm sick of us not even making an ounce of effort to do so.

wtf are you talking about? "party it up on the sidelines"? it reminds me of when people say "so and so is a thug" and it's always related to a black guy. i still feel some niners fans want kap to fail because of that

Yep you are correct, Kap avoids nothing. That makes complete sense

I am humbled by your powers of insight. We, the plebes of 49erswebzone, clearly are not worthy.

DId you watch Thursday's game? Roethlesburger made a half a dozen plays ina collapsing pocket through sheer ingenuity.
The minute things get tight for Kap, I know what's going to happen....some guy is going to trip him up in the backfield, or he will turn right in to pressure...something like that.
Aren't you exasperated? The crazy thing is that Kap is one of the fastest guys on the field in a straightaway. He just doesn't show it in the pocket. Not yet anyway. Why is that?
You know we were on the ropes with Staley out. Frankly I was looking for some successful improvisation from Kap. Didn't get it in the first half -- except for one run.
He can do better.

he doesn't party it up he encourages his teammates they love him. it's not a party he just isn't afraid to actually smile when they execute. his leadership is only questioned by people on the outside. not by his teammates.A
drop that angle

There was an adjustment period after Staley went down. Major line shift with Boone kicking out to LT, and Looney in at RG. They settled down in the 2nd half though.
Kap actually did a great job avoiding pressure once he recognized the Rams only source of pressure was the speed rush outside the Tackles. He started stepping up in the pocket consistently, avoiding the rush every time. Interior o-line did a nice job holding their ground and giving Kap space to step up.

It got better, yeah. We gave up what -- 3-4 sacks in the first half?
