If all our chips fall into place, we will be getting all our guns back around mid to late November just in time to make a crazy playoff run.

just like 2011
Quietly dominating teams!!!!
Want the team to dominate the Jags without incurring any serious injuries and see who comes off the various reserve/injured list to help them after the break. The Panthers have been playing much better and will provide a good test coming off the bye before they play the Saints in the Big Easy. Keep it going, Niners!
Just Get to the playoffs healthy either a WC or Division winner but Basically realistically the 49ers would have to win out and have the Seachickens slip up once vs the 49ers and atleast one more time hopefully next week to the Lambs.

Don't underestimate anyone!

Ya they played Denver closer than most teams did and in Denver too, and lest we forget what Ponder did to us last year. Blackmon's a baaad man too. Still like us 34-10.

Kap is balling. Period.

I'm still worried about what happens to our offense onces defenses sell all out to stop the run. Does Roman and Harbaugh be themselves and keep plowing into a wall with little to no success? Or do we start going pass first when that happens. I believe it's a legitimate concern. We still aren't passing the ball near good enough. 21 attempts is very few especially for an entire game. I just feel like it should be more of a even split on the run and pass.

If defenses are going to sell out on the run another Green Bay game happens... but there's not too many Aaron Rodgers out there for other teams. I think we'd be sweet with Boldin working underneath and VD getting into space deep.

You only pass the ball when you need to. When you're up 24-0 why throw it?

Didn't do it once last season. This team is doing things. Finding it's identity.

the irony in this post is that the "identity" that has won 4 games in a row for us is completely run first with game manager QB tactics, only difference is Kaep is a truly dynamic threat and showed it today. If anybody other than Kaep was back there the Zone would be freaking out.

Still excited about the win streak but someone else already said it...Just Davis and Boldin with catches again with an awesome but singular catch by McDonald.

It really is a constant 7 catches from Vernon, 7 from Boldin, 2 or 3 from Gore and 1 from "insert random player here" every week. Hopefully this changes soon.

We're run first because we have to be. It's obvious we try to establish the pass more than we did the past 2 seasons, but VD and Boldin are the ONLY threats so it's a lot more difficult to get the ball spread around. This will probably change when Manningham and Crabs come back.

Everything is going according to plan.......

The TRUE Quest For Six was never meant to be a Cinderella story (2011) nor was it meant to be a magic carpet ride (2012). We will complete this epic tale one week at a time. One challenge at a time. One injury at a time. One penalty at a time. One miscue at a time. This story is about the trials and tribulations of the new 49ers dynasty that is on the verge of breaking the yolk. We have overcome back-to-back tough games that resulted in losses with a 4 game streak. We have taken full accountability for what appears to be a poor draft last season by drafting better this year. We have over come the silly off-season media who tried desperately to distract the team by focusing on our QB's activities. We have dealt with deaths in the working sector of our 49er family (stadium construction crew members..RIP) We have established to the league that you will not bully our QB or we will go to war. We have overcome injuries and off-field losses due to our depth and tremendous coaching staff. Now we sit on the verge of a possible 6-2 record at the half-way point...While bad teams have seemingly packed it in for the season, and good teams are having to maintain with soreness and injuries, we are gaining momentum....silently getting stronger...reacquiring some "trusted agents" back while the rest of the league puts more bandages on their wounds. The ironic twist to all of this is Mike Singletary was the one who preached this sort of toughness, this form of "fight" while facing adversity...The one thing he did well for this team is something these players still carry on to this day. There will be MORE setbacks before this one is over y'all....let's sit back and enjoy the story unfold. Everything is going according to plan.

I don't know about according to plan, but they're trucking along.
