You only pass the ball when you need to. When you're up 24-0 why throw it?
Lest we forget, yes it was 24-0. It was also stupid to stop passing the football. The titans would have been in this game with 4 minutes left only down 7 because we took our foot off the gas. We lucked out with that special teams TD, if that doesn't happen we could've lost this game. That's why you don't stop throwing the ball. No lead is safe in the NFL, but our coaches have done this for 3 years since they got here. They sit on leads and let teams back into games because they refuse to throw the ball when they're in the lead. If you've got the opponent down, keep them down by doing what you did to get them there in the first place. HaRo never learn there lesson, they just proceed as always.

It's not all on the offense & coaching though. The defense let them get a couple of big plays in the 2nd half when they were resting starters, particularly up front, something that the coaches have been copping flak for not doing as well.
If you're looking for someone to blame for the Titan's 2nd half resurgence then the D probably needs to take the brunt of it. The O did a good job of moving the chains most of the day.

They're starting to look like a no-nonsense serious team. Reid and Brock have infused the defensive secondary with new energy. Manningham comes back soon and a few weeks after that maybe Crabtree. Tank is lurking in the shadows and could be the NEXT BIG THING on the defensive line. Dial is huge, I hope that translates on the field.

I don't think they will lose to the Jags, BUT the Jags have 2 really good WR's in Blackmon and Cecil Shorts. They have to respect those guy and the Niners should win big. Oh yea don't let MJD get hot. The Jags will win one eventually, but hopefully not against us!

Well normally i would agree with everyone on here saying we cant overlook the Jags. But i have seen the odd few series of their offense and defence and highlights of every game, and i can now 100% say............we CAN overlook the Jags. They are destined for 0-16 unless they pull out a late vicotry LATE in the season to avoid the 0-16 mark. I mean its easy to say Blackmon or Shorts put up decent stats, but thats cause they are down 14+ and throwing every play when the def is playing prevent.
My hope is we keep all starters at home to rest for 2 weeks and only send out the backups and practice squad to London. We can win 6-3 in a boring game that no one will watch and move on.

I hope we don't play anyone who can get a rest.
Willis, Dorsey and anyone else who could use 2 weeks to get well for the next haul.
We can beat Jax w/our 2nd team.
A MAJOR plus is these other guys can get some real game experience just in case. Look how Lemonier has improved with playing time.

I dont want to get to far head here ...but I also want us to rest our wounded if we take a commanding lead ...but like they say , "any given sunday" anything can happen.....but if we pound the ball hard, we should be able to break them down by mid 2nd qtr ...but if we do get that big lead , then Dial and Wilhoite should get the lions share of the snaps , we need Willis and Dorsey strong for the home stretch

big credit to the walking wounded for getting the job done. Yes I know there are a few worries. I for one just do not like our kick and punt return game and i agree with my daughter who expressed a bit of frustration on how we take our foot off the gas at half time,,,,,,,,, However thats it. I am sure it has been discussed earlier today but along with the winning streak, i saw last night this is the first time since 97 we have won four games in a row by double digits.; we could be the best team in the nfl that no one is talking about and that is just fine with me
