Brooks was supposed to hug him passionately and caress his testicles while he gently escorts him to the ground.

and top it off with a wet kiss

If the slant or screen is not called and there is no one running those routes how does Kap make a play on one of those? It's not on Kap when you have a situation like that, it's on Roman or the putrid pass blocking..Alexis is 2 of 9 right now with a couple of sacks..yeah he's playing lights out and 7 down..gimme a break with this smith BS man..

You do know there's these things called audibles, that allow the QB to change the play at the line of scrimmage, which also, change the routes that WR's run.

If Colin is having issues reading the defense, he's either

A) Not going to audible into a play that can counter that play (aka changing to a slant play)

or

B) Stick with the original play

Being able to read a defense is something that comes with experience, something Alex has and something Colin is gaining.
That call made me very angry. YOU CAN'T just make up rules midngame because a hit was too hsrd on a 160 pound weakling. Get these sissy qbs out of here already they are killing our game. That ref should be shot.

I think Kaep will be fine...he is in no way a bad QB..!!!! IMO he's still learning big boy football..Smith in his second year sucked now he's a decent QB.. Kaep has a lot of upside and I think he's trying to do way to much and over thinking once he starts to be comfortable have fun with the game he'll be really good last year he was just having fun and playing and had a hell of a season. I do think the o-line needs to get it together they've been getting their asses handed to them lately which makes Kaep look even worse...

This is his third f**king year in the system. His play is unacceptable at this time. Its not all on him, but after three years i expect a lot more.

I'd buy a jersey for that.
Russell Wilson posts career high passer rating of 151.4 vs. the Vikings

Did they think it was clotheslining? Is that it's own penalty or just a personal foul?

Yeah they thought it was a clothesline to the neck area. That's debatable in this case. A clothesline by NFL definition is a "strike" to the neck area. Brooks did not strike him, he wrapped his arm around his neck and brought him down. When you're a pass rusher you have to tackle however you can as long as it's not an illegal blow to the head/neck. Should have been a no call IMO.

Well, going lower may have been a better choice. You know how p***y the NFL is with QBs. You DAMN sure know the DEF understands this.

How does a 6"3 player go low on a 5"11 qb? Then he'd get flagged for hittting the knees. The tules are so convoluded and confusing refs make it up as they go along.

I thought his head was going to come off. If this were 10 years ago it'd be on the ESPN highlight reel.

Why is it that every NFL fan wants more hits like this, but the NFL is doing everything it can to take them away.

Did anybody mentioned the drop from Gore that could've went for at least 35-50 yds or a TD or FG to seal the game?? Or its all on Kap??

I think you know the answer to this, just read all the "stuff" here...the offense as a whole does suck tho, so far, for 4 games...

Because the NFL is facing a lot of flak for player safety, the concussionCTE issue is causing a lot of problems for the NFL

He seems to do just fine memorizing scripts, reading twitter, and looking for Mighty Wings... less of all that and more studying the game might do him wonders.

Why? Then you don't get the opportunity for the fumble..which Brooks did force because he came in high. Not really directing this at you, but this was a bullsh*t call

can we fire him now? I mean, there is a reason dude didn't make it as a Head Coach...or has asked to be brought back to Head Coach. Just seems like bad luck, on top of giving horrible advice.

passing the buck Harbaugh makes to many decisions based on emotion.

because the NFL doesn't want injuries to highly valuable players. It's BS, but it's the BS we have to live with.
