Yup. Maybe a little rust from the bye, too...
Most teams come out better from the bye. Pathetic

I swear sometimes Roman doesn't have backup plans if he loses Vernon.
use Baldwin or McDonald.
how do you consistently not get other offensive players involved, game after game? I don't think I've ever seen this from other coaches. Then now that they are forced to play, you are scared s**ttless to use them? what you think they might be rusty because they never get used YOU f**k!

Well, since Seattle is going to Win the west, is Carolina our biggest challenge for the Wildcard?

Unfortunately, that is already a question...
it's becoming a reality

The chicken littles have come back in full force, you would think a 5 game win streak would keep people from freakin out over the most trivial things.

He is done for the day, you don't get to play through concussions anymore. The bad news is that he is starting to be like Steve Young where even small hits are giving him a concussion.

Don't make the same mistake as the Colts game. Keep running Gore. He's having good success.

This. All of this talk of what the defense isn't doing. Carolina has done virtually nothing until that last drive. So far this is solely on the offense.

We should of gone for it on 4 and 1 at the near goal line. We need a TD and if we didn't get it, they're O is in danger territory. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

I can't believe that no one is open. Our WRs aren't great but great QBs have had no names come into the team week to week and have made them look decent.

Can someone please send out some resumes for Roman and then maybe somebody will hire him and then we can get somebody that can call offensive plays?

Justin Smith and Ray McDonald have declined in performance wise since 2011, this year McDonald is injured obviously but even last season he wasn't playing at the same level as he did in 2011. That's the big difference in the run defense compared to 2011. Dorsey has actually done fairly well in the middle although it would be nice for the 49ers to draft a massive NT to take over that role long term. Hopefully Tank Carradine will be ready to go sooner rather than later.
