Jury will be out on Patton for a while but Josh Morgan is probably our best pick at WR in the last decade+
Crabtree was a top10 pick for a reason and clearly worth it, can't say we "targeted" him when the 2009 FO blatantly said he fell to us and that they "had to take him".
I agree. It's more about being able to
develop a player than it is being able to "draft" a player. Like you said, Crabtree fell the Niners at #10. Let's emphasize the fact that we're talking about a wide receiver that "fell" to #10. Crab was a rare talent that would've gone even higher had he not been injured.
Kyle Williams is a #3 WR at best, but more like a #4/PR-type-of-guy. That's nothing to write home about. Josh Morgan is decent, but he is not a starting-caliber receiver.
