No.

Because Tomsula.

I do love me some Tomsula that's for sure.

He was playing at 285 last season. 6'4 with 34 1/2 inch arms. That's not small.
Most of these guys seem to be doing well in spite of character concerns http://www.optimumscouting.com/draft/articles/2013-nfl-draft-top-ten-prospects-with-character-concerns.html

I know the right guy is not Kyle Williams? I know the right guy wasn't AJ . If we can't draft a freaking receiver our selves who is the right guy? If we wait and wait. It's bye bye. Super Bowl window is short.. We flunked twice... Can you sit there and not pull the trigger on a guy that is this explosive? In a time that we need a #2 receiver. I rather have plan b than left with another season down the drain bc we thought that Crabtree was coming back like his Super Bowl performance. The time is now.

another season down the drain.. and people think i over react. we did not win the super bowl the last two years but that does mean it was a lost season nor does it mean, if we do not get this guy you want,, we will go down the drain. i would discuss a third or fourth but not a second. if the team felt he was worth a second, the deal would have been done yesterday.

I can only speak for myself but I've been watching my niners since I laid eyes on joe Montana. I'm not trying to compare but all I'm trying to say is that after 94-94 season there has been so much disappointment.. Down the drain I mean 2 muffed punts NFC championship game and 5 yards away last year. Realistically how many more years do we have? The window is closing again and we didn't get it on 2 tries. I don't wana wait another 18 years? I want now... That means all hands on deck and if it's not enough? Bring guys that can help win now.. Not next year.. Ain't no guarantee tomorrow.....

Mike Smith is a fantastic coach actually. He turned that franchise into a winner the moment he stepped in, and their team has been consistently good up until this season. (Which I think is hilarious how they lost to the JETS last night.) Lol

matt ryan prolly has something to do with that...moreso than smith imo

His combine weight was 276 and I'd say he's gained a lot since then. His arms are huge. I'd guess he's 285 at least. Not sure if he's gotten bigger since then but here he is at the rookie symposium in late June.

TANK CARRADINE AND JOSH GORDON FOR ALEX SMITH
4. The Compensation Is Already A Luxury

Here, the "compensation" is a second-round pick. I'm calling it a luxury because the Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 right now and getting at least eight wins seems incredibly likely. When the Chiefs get eight wins, the conditional draft pick involved in the Alex Smith trade becomes a second rounder. Given the way the 49ers have been drafting, trading said second rounder for Gordon seems like an incredibly smart bet, no? In short, the 49ers would be getting Tank Carradine and Josh Gordon for Alex Smith -- a backup quarterback.

Seems good to me.

That would be ok with me?

Not really the place for this.

? Wouldn't you consider Gordon a reinforcement?

Some people were talking Gordon trade in this thread so he wasn't the first but it's being talked about here:

http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/niners/172878-would-you-trade/page28/

Technically this thread should be fore Manningham, Dial, Carradine, Wright but I can see how some would think someone we would trade for is a "reinforcement".

I consider a reinforcement someone that is on the team. Gordon, while possibly helpful, is a pipe dream at this point. Besides there is an entire thread dealing with the potential of the Gordon signing.
True
