It's more just too long holding the ball than pressure. The coverage is superb.

This. Kap has a clean pocket and the coverage is outstanding. When Kap rolls out to buy time THATs when the d-line spins off their blocks and get to him.

Truth is Seattle matches up with us incredibly well. They keep 8 in the box against the run man us up on the outside and completely kill our game plan. All they have to do is out last us and make a few plays ( which they have) to win. We're gonna need some big plays to have a chance.

Totally agree. They play man to man well and 8 in the box keeps us from running. Unless we figure something out, all Seattle needs is a FG and they win this game.

RIght. Its all Kap. NOT. The WRS are getting NO separation. The OL isnt getting any holes for Gore at all.

Yeah, not a great way to start the week
Eric Reid doesn't have a history of concussions in college does he?
Our defense has given SEA nothing. Our offense put those 5 points on the board for SEA.

Defense is playing as well as expected

I'm literally in shock how inept Kap looks. Run when you have an opening young fella. Seattle's secondary is phenomenal, but they will think twice about rushing 3 and dropping everyone in coverage if you make them pay with your legs.

This. Seattle insists on playing man coverage, Kaepernick should take off at every opportunity, get as many yards as he can and get out of bounds. If he gashes them enough with his legs, they'll have to change their plan.

I'm hoping this is what he resorts to in the 2nd half!

I agree.
Niners will wake up in the 2nd half

Really, Kaep over threw Gore, Fumbled the ball, thew an interception and passed an incomplete pass when he should've ran for the 1st. It's not all Kaep, but mostly him.

we lucky we still in this game really, seattle defense is legit though, we need more weapons against them. need 3 headed monster for a defense like this, thats why atlanta was successful against them with tony G, Julio, and roddy, and we got Boldin, Vernon, and crabs...... but he out so yea..

But if the coverage is superb, Kaep has no choice but to leave the pocket. Lets just face it, Seattle's secondary is just too good. We're gonna have to TRY and win this game on the ground or get it to the TE's somehow
