I don't understand why people just don't pay the $20 to see all the preseason games on HD streamed from the NFL. You can go back and rewatch Niner plays all you want for $5 a game

Using the code directv it was only 14.99 too. I spent that much on lunch today lol.

I'm in Mizzou so will be getting the KC homer broadcast. My last 2 cents on Alex - the winning TD pass to Vernon against the Saints really validated him as a starting-caliber QB in the league.

There are reports that Joe Staley will not play on Friday's preseason game against the Chiefs, and our 1st group is going to be in the game longer than last week. Am I the only one that's worried about Kaeps blind side with A.Snyder protecting it going against one of the better pass rushers in the league (Tamba Hali)? I mean those are the hits that can hurt him, because he won't see it coming. You guys think we'll put A.Boone out LT and put Snyder in RG?

Snyder looks like the first tackle off the bench, so I expect him to start. I'm not worried though. We'll probably call plenty of 3-step drops so Kap can get the ball out quickly. Kap will only play a few series. He'll live.

This scares me a bit. KC is KC. I don't care what time of year it is, they will be fired up and will come after Kap. We've already committed Boone to guard, so now we have to play a journeyman with no true position at LT.
I think we might get an early season lesson on the importance of the backup LT position.

True but Kaep likes to read his deep routes first before checking dwn. Are you willing to take the risk of Kaep getting hurt on a meaningless game? Im not sold on Snyder to protect Kaeps blind side. "He'll live"? This is football buddy, anything can happen, it only takes one play to change evrything.

I dont want to see Kap play more than 1 series. We have seen enough from him to know that he is ready. Now we need to keep him healthy and focused on GB week 1

After what happened to Brady earlier in practice, though it's not serious, they should play Kap 1 snap - a handoff and get him outta there.
