Missing coach of the year award...as far as I remember, Seifert won in '94 (prob '89 as well) and Harbaugh in '11, Walsh also probably won at least one...

That was something that I did not know. In fact, most of information was new to me.
There were some surprises for me.
Roger Craig won the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award and the Newspaper Enterprise Association NFL MVP Award in 1988, not 1985.
It was in 1985 that Craig became the first running back in NFL history to have over 1,000 yards rushing (1,050) and 1,000 yards receiving (1,016) in the same year.
But, the biggest surprise was that Ronnie Lott did not win any of these awards. I happen to feel that Lott is one best players to ever play the game.
His absence just goes to show us that any tool used to evaluate players has it flaws.
