It has to be Kaep.
Last week, in the "Face of the Franchise" thread I said, "When you have the chance to vote for Gore, you vote for Mr. Gore." Not here, though. Previous to Kaep, our offense was plodding and more miss than hit. Since Kaep has taken over the cockpit, things have changed in a big way. Clearly, Kaep is the MVP.
Edit: That said, you should vote for Mr. Gore whenever possible.

I wouldn't put Smith in at starter, because Colin is the MAN, but it takes a lot of class to not cause dissension in a locker room after losing your job to an injury while your having perhaps a career year and leading a great team. He could have hurt team chemistry, but he didn't.
Alex isn't the team MVP but I do agree with these thoughts..Just think of how difficult of a situation this is for Alex.
Think of the stories about Mark Sanchez wanting to fight Rex Ryan for attempting to give Mark Brunell some practice snaps.
and how many times/ways have we heard how stupid everyone was for passing on Tom Brady in teh draft and how Tom has this enormous chip on his shoulder.
Alex was never a great player but I hope he is remembered fondly for his class.

Down 17-0, game on the line. Five straight runs. Gore got us in that game and two TDs.
