My wife & I planned to be in Atlanta next weekend anyway, so we went ahead and bought tickets for the game. I am so stoked about seeing the 49ers play in the NFC Championship.

Let's go Niners!

Can you take me instead? I'll drive up from Florida
garrison hearst, honorary team captain this week? do it jed
The only reason we lost that playoff game in Atlanta in '98 was Hearst getting injured on the first play. This is a different team, a different era, a different offense and a different defense. There is no good reason why that streak shouldn't end next Sunday.

NFL odds: The Pats are 9.5-point favorites over the Ravens. The Niners are 3.5-point favorites over the Falcons. (Via @RJinVegas).

That feels very high for the Pats. I think it will be a very close game like last year.
I keep trying to come up with just one reason why we are going to beat Atlanta and i cant - there are to many of them. From both lines to our running game to our physical style of offense and defense, their inability to contain the pistol, Kaepernick's running ability and his rocket of an arm.....As long as we play like we are capable of we walk out of Atl and straight into the Super Bowl. We come out flat at times this year. We can't afford to do that against their offense, as they can put up points fast. So far we have come out strong in each of the three playoff games under Harbaugh, and i don't think that will change.

The Falcons have more balanced offense with great players at skill positions. They ran the ball through the Seahawks run D (with 8 in box). I think our defense will have its hands full. On the flip side, Falcons D is not as good against the run. This game will come down to how well our offense can move the ball. I see the Falcons putting up 21 pts against our D and use up more clock than the Packers.

Seahawks were missing Chris Clemons, and the Niners knows what it feels like when they are down a starting D-lineman.
Let's not forget that John Abraham (arguably their best defensive player) re-injured his ankle today...

The over confidence in here was about the same as it was last year before giants game

Lets stay focused and not take a 13-3 team lightly

This!

Not our job to stay focused. Our job is to BELIEVE.

Now, to your real point....you dont think Harbaugh is going to remind his team about last year's debacle EVERY DAY THIS WEEK leading up to the ATL game ? Im sure this team will go out there MORE than focused.

The rest of us, well...we'll just have to enjoy the moment.

Yo, cheers. Gotta enjoy the moment eh? Talk ends up being talk and they walk.

Nice job this year. Winners are we all.

This is not gonna be an easy win but I think we should be able to get this. Hopefully we are better prepared for the crowd noise than we were in Seattle and we cant get down early.
All I know is that we're one win away from the Super Bowl!!! I have never watched this team in the Super Bowl. I want this win BAD!!!!
Now the Falcons get to see what a real team looks like with the 9ers going in. And Roddy Whites comments after that Clements strip in that the 49ers were the same 49ers (remember he stripped Bly the year before when Bly decide to go Deion at the 25!!) they dont learn. Karma is a b***h in the form of Goldson and Whitner!

Roddy really likes to talk. He and Browner should have danceoff.
