well good thing our rookies dont get any playing time :P

we have a young second year quarterback that is playing well beyond his years for some strange reason i love it. matt ryan for a while now hasnt been playing to well and our team has proven that if we get turn overs..we are practically unstoppable and also... idk if you know this or not but our team is one of the top road teams.. if not the best road team in the league.

The 49ers must not be on a mission, but the Falcons are.

We're screwed.

You guys had the easiest schedule IN THE LEAGUE. You almost lost to the raiders.

Talk is cheap man. Let the play do the talking.

Kap is a cool customer. Won't get rattled easily. Hell, I don't think he gets rattle at all. If our offense plays the way it did last night and our defense plays its game, I don't see us losing to you guys. No doubt it will be a very tough and heated battle, but in the end, I think we"ll win. We've already showed (except at Seattle) we can play well and win on the road. Don't expect this to be any different.
This will be a tough game because of the crowd noise. It's not as much of a cakewalk as everyone seems to think it is.
The victory against Green Bay was huge from a psychological stand point. I don't think any of us fans realize the damage that was done changing QBs midseason from a unity standpoint. My guess is that it caused quite a stir in the locker room and divided the team into Alex or CK fans. The 49er players may not admit it but I'm sure many were questioning Harbaugh's decision. To add insult to injury our biggest locker room leaders are buddies with Alex (Vernon and Staley).

But now everybody has had a chance to digest this change and witness the fact that we can start whispering the word SUPERSTAR when describing Colin Kaepernick. The word SUPERSTAR and Alex Smith don't belong in the same sentence. Now that this distraction has been removed we can focus on playing football again.

Now it's time to pin our ears back and win this thing. No more excuses, no more looking back and second guessing Harbaugh. The players realize Harbaugh was right making the move that he did.

I think we walk into Atlanta and put a hurt of them. Guys I think we are going to the Super Bowl! Wooooo hooooooo.

Who has it better than us? NOBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He did just fine in the Superdome and Foxborough. And, I think someone already pointed this out - he's not a rookie.

I don't think any NFL game is a cakewalk and certainly not an away game. And, the Falcons are clearly a good team - they just beat the fricking Seahawks for cryin out loud. I'm just saying that the Niners match up well with the Falcons. The Falcons don't have a good running game and the Niners have proven that they can control a good passing attack over and over this season. On the other side of the ball, the Falcons don't really have as good a defense as lots of teams the Niners have had to play this year.

Rookie? Colin is in his 2nd year. He won in Orleans and NE and accepted that pressure head on. The Georgia Dome will not be any different. Yes alot of us would have much rather played at home but our road record is just as good. The ATL offense will probably score some points, but the Defense is the suspect. You almost lost the game in the 2nd half. If it wasn't for some dumb defensive playcalling on the Hawks on the last drive that set-up the winning FG for the Falcons, it would have been over. I can gaurantee, if that was the niner D, we wouldn't be playing PREVENT. The Falcons offense will be facing a D where almost half the starters are in the pro bowl. The Falcons D will be facing an offense with the 3rd best rushing attack in the league, and oh, a QB who last week ran for 183 yards and 2 TD's. Even if you limit is running yards, the guy has an arm and is accurate. For a team that can rack up almost 600 yards in offense, 38 mins in Time of possession, and a defense that was barely on the field. Ask Rodgers.......Hope ATL is ready. Not gonna say it'll be a blowout, but the niners will not be making the same mistakes we made in last years NFC championship.

HaHa, mission. HaHa...I guess if our quarterback just won his first of 4 playoff games I'd be pretty pumped too. Just to let you know, I don't see this game being close at all and as far as pumping ourselves up, well that's just hilarious. Ryan always makes those mistakes, especially in the playoffs. Your team was crying today because they won...crying We were here last year and your team is acting like they're world beaters because a rookie QB and his beat up team gave you the game in the last few seconds.

Come back to eat your crow
On the other hand, the Falcons DID score a lot more points on the Seahawks than the Niners have been able to do this year, so we'll see. It's definitely not a "gimme."

I was looking at your regular season schedule this morning... Jesus Christ you guys played one top 10 team this year and the rest were average or terrible teams. You probably don't watch a lot of 49er football but you guys won't get too many big plays. We will rush the QB with four guys while we play coverage. Gonzalez will be locked up with Willis or Bowman.

As I was watching today's game I was telling myself "I haven't seen a more nonexistent pass rush this season." This ATL front line was no where near Wilson all day and Seattle's o line is pretty average.

The only thing that worries me is being on the road with the crowd noise in the playoffs but I think Kaep will do well especially after seeing this defense choke up a 20 point lead in a quarter.

The crowd noise is definitely my biggest fear though. Hopefully Niner fans will take over the dome which I could see happening.
