noon

i just got a notification saying its at 3 EST

thats noon pacific

ya. weird start time

They made the schedule based on EST --- 3pm for the NFC / 6pm for the AFC. If the NFL were smart, they would take into consideration that it might be better to swap spots so that the Niners would get their fair dues and not be playing morning time (in their locale).

Only guy for Atlanta that really scares me is roddy. He really good along with really lucky.

Every time I see him I think of him punching the ball from Nate Clements on the interception run back.

Didn't he do that to Dre Bly too?

Bly was high stepping 80 yards from the paint

lol. Thats "Dre being Dre". Dick was high-stepping from the 40 yard line.
Go 49ers!
bring on the dirty birds!!
Looks like the guy who got 10 of Atlanta's 29 sacks will be pretty useless to them

Not gonna lie, was pulling for the Seahags to win. Really wanted us to play at home again and possibly get sweet revenge against them for what they did to us a few weeks back up in Seattle; esp with the stakes being so high.

But after thinking about it, I think it's best for our team to show not only ourselves but the whole World why we're the best team in the NFC. Only way to do that is to beat the #1 seed at their place. If we can play just like we did last night on both sides of the ball, we WILL beat those Dirty Birds and advance to the SB. Falcons are tough and offensively are 1 of the best in the game, but since we've beaten the likes of Brees, Brady, and Rodgers, I think we can do the same exact thing against Matt Ryan. No question about it.

Go 9ers baby!!!!!!

Actually, the Atlanta offense is 8th overall in the league. They are 6th in passing offense and 29th in rushing offense. The Niners have already beaten two teams rated higher in passing, the Patriots and the Saints, and both of them were at their fields. The Niners defense should be able to completely concentrate on the Falcons passing game while shutting down their running game. On defense, Atlanta is rated 24th in the league, 21st against the rush and 24th against the pass, so the Niner offense should be able to do what it wants against that defense. I don't want to be overconfident, because this is the NFL, but the Niners really should be able to advance to the Superbowl this year.

That one hurt... I've seen roddy get lucky on a bunch of plays including this season against the panthers. Dude has amazing awareness.

Yep. Some tough times we had to go through that last decade.

49ers RB Frank Gore on the @dpshow Monday at 11:30am est.
It funny thinking the Seasuckers are still in the plane somewhere over middle America right now crying in their sleep
I want to see how Atlanta's undersized but quick D line can handle the 49ers O line in the run game. As Ron Jaworski once stated "They may have the best run blocking line in the National Football League"

49ers by murder, death, kill.

Roddy White punched that ball away from Clements at ATL back in 2010, White swatted the ball from Bly in 09... Speaking of that game at ATL back in 2010... How many of you guys were excited about Taylor Mays after he made that blocked punt recovery for TD? I'm gonna admit I was thinking that Mays will be a good safety then he started getting burned.

Atlanta's defense is 21st against the run giving up an average of over 123 yards rushing per game. On a regular Sunday, it should be a long day for the Atlanta defense when they play the Niners.
