- Kaep running is not a secret or forgotten part of the game as much this week
- No one is picking Atlanta to win. That can lead to a little more push for ATL to do better and them coming up with innovative schemes that no one has seen before in stopping the niners or causing issues and potential false sense of security in terms of preparation for the Niners
- ATL has four great offensive weapons - M.Ryan, 2 WRs and a great TE. Can we cover them all
- ATL pretty much shut down the SEA run game
- ATL had a decent run game which they didnt show as much during the regular season (do we think it was an anomaly or something they've fixed)
- ATL had various last minute comebacks both with TDs and FGs. Losing on the last possession would be heartbreaking
- Drops by 49ers - especially both TEs
- The Niner defense's inability to stop the deep ball - especially by Rogers and Culliver
- The Niner inability to extract or capitalize on turnovers
What do you guys think and what else are you concerned about?

The good news is that over on a Falcon's board there is a "deepfalcon" that has a list of worries twice as long as yours

Kaepernick adds more than rushing upgrade
At first glance Kaepernick and Smith have similar passing numbers -- they both completed 153 passes and posted TD-Int differentials of +8.
However, Kaepernick has completed the same amount of passes as Smith in one fewer start despite an average pass length of 9.7 yards downfield, the fourth-highest average in the league. Smith's 7.4 average throw distance ranks sixth-lowest among qualified quarterbacks.
Kaepernick has also connected on 15 plays of at least 30 yards this season, more than twice as many as Smith (six).

I do not think Kaep will run all over the place again, but I do this he will be prepared. He will have around 250yds passing with 2 Tds and maybe 60 yds rushing. Frank Gore and Lemike will shine this game. Our running game will win us this one

The start time and possibility of us sleep walking and being sluggish and waking up too late like Seattle did

When do/did they fly out?
While this is always a concern, we seem to have a reasonably good handle on it.

I am worried about no pressure on Matt Ryan. Any qb with lots of time can crush a secondary.

You guys have no idea how much I hate the Falcons, just like the Saints, they were in our division years ago, and we used to play them every year. This game means a lot more than just a playoff game. This is a rivalry game, much like the Saints game was last season. It still feels like we owe them a thrashing like we used to deliver all those years. Personally I miss playing New Orleans and Atlanta. Much better than Seattle and Arizona twice a year.
Revenge for 99 playoffs! Go Niners

Not too concerned about this one. They flight out Friday after practice. Plus game starts at 3pm EST (12 noon). That's equivalent to a Central Time Zone team playing on the East Coast.
What i'm really concerned about - will 2 Chainz root for us, or for his hometown team?

Sounds like somebody has been watching some NFL Network since those are the exact same predictions from them

lol
I think Kaep will do great on Sunday as the Falcons will have to commit one more defender in the box to stop the run. I think he reaches 300 yards this weekend in a two score win

start time is not an issue with me like it was vs the vikes. the game then was at ten am midwest time and the players looked like they just rolled out of bed. it will be noon to them and that should not be an issue. there is NO reason that this team should come out not ready to play the game. this is the second most exciting and important game a team will ever play and there is NO excuse not to be focused and ready. unlike the vikes game,, we must get off to a good start on both sides of the ball. if we score first, the fans down there seem to set on their hands. Now if we can not pressure ryan we will be in big trouble, if we go back to our making penalties on both sides of the ball we are in trouble,
