I know it's good for the team overall because of the national exposure. Not to mention that we are 5-0 in those games so far.

But for my personal viewing enjoyment, it's kind of been a drag. Between primetime games in week 7, 8 and 11 and a bye in week 9, over a 5 week period (week 7-11) there was only 1 Sunday afternoon game.

Now, after three in a row (weeks 12-14), we have two more Sunday nighters back to back.

Again, I like the exposure, but it really screws up my weekend. I've got two kids of 2 years old or younger. It's MUCH easier to watch one game in the afternoon and then maybe or maybe not have to think about the late games. Plus, even if I get to watch the game in peace, it still just kind of sucks. I hate Sunday afternoon without a Niner game.

I'm glad we are getting noticed and even happier we have won all those games, but I really would have liked them to be more spread out. I miss having my Niner game as a regular part of my Sunday afternoon.
i feel the complete opposite
Personally, I feel like a kid again because during the dynasty period we were always on prime time. And for all the new generation 49ers fans who have never experienced that, you better get used to prime time because the dynasty is returning reeeeal soon.
I like it but I missed the first half of all the primetime games because of them being on weekdays.. busy schedule. sunday is my only day off basically..

The difference being, is that "back in the day", there were not Thursday Night, Sunday Night, and "floating" games. Monday Night Football was the only Prime Time game. So, even if you were a dynasty team that got all the attention in the world, you didn't have more than 3 late games a year during the regular season.

Now, even being just a pretty good team that is starting to get back in the national spotlight, we are going to have 6 of our 16 games at night. Counting the bye week hat's over 40% of the regular reason schedule where there isn't a Niner game on Sunday afternoon.

There was a time when that wouldn't have mattered to me, but my schedule now makes it kind of pain in the ass. Plus, I hate having to wait until the last game or two of the week to see my team when almost every other team has already played.
Dude I'm on the east coast and I have four kids and get up early in the AM. So I guess in the pissing contest of inconvenience I win. Sure it would be more convenient to watch in the afternoon. But your point is just completely self focused. It is what it is and if I was running the NFL I'd be flexing the Niners' games too. This is a capitalists enterprise and the $s get the vote and the $s vote we play in prime time. So given that the best teams and match ups happen in prime time as much as the league can control it, which isn't going to change, I would much rather be inconvenienced than to suffer through the convenience of the post mooch pre harbaugh era. Just enjoy it.
The Dallas Cowboys should've been on more.

I wish we could play all of our games on Sunday nights.
I have a totally opposite take.

I live in Las Vegas and we don't always get the Niner games on TV.

I can go to the casinos and watch then BUT I can't handle the cigarette smoke.

It's great to be able to see my team play. I've been a fan since 1976 and lived in Squaw Valley. I was able towatch all the games unless a snow storm knocked out the TV reception.

it limits which game I can choose for my annual SF trip, but I love that we're finally getting prime time games.
We will have 6 primetime games this year. I don't think any team has ever been on primetime more than 5 times in one year since the inception of Thursday Night Football and Sunday Night Football. The Niners are the HOT ticket right now. The fact that they are undefeated this year under the lights (....so far) is amazing, too. I am loving every minute of this.
I don't mind Sunday night games, but for my personal enjoyment, Monday and Thursday nights suck. More than half the time I don't even get home until 8:00 or so.

I kinda think I wasted 300 bucks for Sunday ticket
