Beat the Packers handily in Green Bay, but can't beat the Rams at home, how the f**k does that work?

Alex Smith

Colin out produced Alex and put up 17 points in 2.5 quarters. This has nothing to do with the offense.

Defense and ST lost this game

really not impressed with our coaching this season....roman can ead and our run defense has disappeared not so confident in this team anymore although i dont want to over react its games like this that make me have doubt

Too late

haha yeah probably but i think there are valid concerns with this team that we are overlooking
This game wasn't about the offense. The Rams should never score 24 points on us.

dont look at quarters look at drives because thats how many opportunities they have had

and 7 were gimmie points

3.5 counting overtime broseph

This is all part of the master plan. Our defense was getting too much praise. So now we will be allowed to slip under the radar as non-contenders behind the Falcons, Texans, Bears etc...etc... and did so in style by not taking a loss in the process.

To be honest we seem on par being as wildly inconsistent as the rest of the league. See the Giants and Falcons today... as well as the last 10 weeks worth of oddball ups and downs.

Say what you want about Kaep's performance today, the D we face next week is way better than the Ram's D.

Points seem pretty important and 17 points in the second half is hardly something to criticize. For a young guy coming off the bench, that's not bad at all.
If jrg had already moved to San Jose we probably would have kicked their ass imo
For everything else that happened, they had a 41 yarder to win it. No excuse for not winning it at that point.

Alex looked good before leaving. Kaep is definitely not ready but the playcalling did him no favours - way too many passes called when he first came in, even though the run was working and he looked lost early. Don't know why they picked that point to abandon the run, could have even gone to the option runs they used earlier in the year.
