Cant wait to see Crabtree score on him to see what happens.

This year we get our revenge.

Thats what was so funny about dick's rant, he acted like it was the last football game ever. All he did was put a huge bull eyes on himself in the upcoming meetings.

STEVE NEEDED JOE

To be great, you need that challenger.

Lets get it.

Holyfield did not need Tyson, although Tyson perhaps made him more famous.

Magic needed Bird. Jordan didn't need anybody.

Steve needed Joe to get out of the way more than anything.

Sherman is an ass clown who will be forgotten in a second if he loses even half a step or they start calling pass interference on him. He thinks he's Dieon Sanders. Sanders toyed with receivers, he din't need to hold, and could coast through a game without needing to put out 100% effort.
Sherman uses every last inch of physical ability he has and holds as much as possible, while taking risks on a team with an outstanding pass rush. If he was on the Browns, no one would even know who he was.

Crabtree just needs to continue to ignore him.
Richard Sherman is at the highest point of his career, he just won the super bowl and is on the cover of madden. That coupled with his love for himself is just leading to the relentless growth of his obnoxious and irritating arrogance. History has shown that the mighty fall the farthest and oh how sweet it will be. Here's to hoping Crabtree does his talking on the field. Go Niners!

Sherman will be under a lot of scrutiny this year, that is for certain. No doubt, it is part because he's gone on numerous rants, but also because he's now won a Super Bowl. It comes with the territory.

That being said, I really wonder what his issue is with Crabtree. He goes out of his way to call him out. There has to be much more to the story than Fitzgerald's charity event.

It's because he dug himself into hole that he can't crawl out of.

He made himself look like an ass on national TV in front of millions of people, and now he is trying to play it off like it was nothing and is trying to drag Crabtree into it. That way he makes it look like it is an issue between TWO people, not just him, but Crabtree wants no part of his childish b******t.

I think this is a fair sentiment. Sherman did backtrack pretty quickly after the backlash and now has seemingly tried to reassert himself. I think the reassertion started as himself trying to re-establish his "brand" and now he's just rolling with it. I don't really have any grudge against it. He's a good player and should be proud of his accomplishments. I wouldn't go about it the way he does, but to each his own.

For what it's worth I think Crabtree is a fine player. I'm not sold that he's top 5 in the league but he's probably somewhere in the top 15 or so when healthy. For Sherman to single him out repeatedly suggests some sort of deep rift between the two that is more than a simple football rivalry. Fitzgerald is likely widely considered a much better receiver and Sherman essentially pays him no heed.

I do hope Crabtree continues to take the "high road" so to speak and just plays his game, whether he's lights out or not. Crabs has shown during his tenure with the Niners that he isn't a player to go seeking attention, which is pretty mindblowing considering his rookie holdout and all the drama surrounding that.
Crab needs to catch some game winners this year...

It's not that he's not capable because generally we don't need game winning catches as often as other teams. We're usually protecting a lead.
Richard Sherman will be facing us three times this year (all together), it's crazy, and he knows we're always gonna be in the way of what he wants, and Sherman hates that.

Or better yet, maybe it's that Dick still can't accept that Kap outplayed his hero Peyton Manning, and that nobody on Denver's receiving core could hold Michael Crabtree's jockstrap? -Sherman is nothing but a Apollo Creed, wins a draw, but knows he's a chump.

I hope Crabs trucks D!ck a couple of times this year. I'd love to see him knocked flat on his azz on game day by KingCrab.

Trading King Crabs for Andre Johnson would be so clutch right now. Makes since for both teams. Crabs is a Texas guy and probably resigns with them. AJ wants out and to play for a contender. Would give the offense a great vertical threat and much more explosive potential.

Seattle fan?

Go back to .nuts...

Did you watch the NFC Championship game?

After being taunted, Crabtree shoved Sherman in the face while millions cheered the action. They were glad that someone finally stood up to that ass clown.
To avoid further embarrassment, Sherman then dug a deeper hole with his post-game rant.

Now, Sherman is trying to drag Crabtree back into the hole he has dug for himself and make it look like there is a "thing" between them; but there is nothing between them. It is all in Sherman's head, as a way of justifying his embarrassing actions. Crabtree wants no part of it.

Fitzgerald has nothing to do with any of this. He was not in the NFC Championship game.

It's like that crazy soccer player who bites people. "He elbowed me in the head." He try's to excuse his actions by bringing attention to the other player, but the fact of the matter is, it's not about the other player, it's about him and his grotesque actions.

No one said Fitzgerald had anything to do with it. They got into it at his camp is all.
