I always thought Tarell Brown was like a 3rd rounder ....he's a 5th

He was rated as a 2nd round prospect heading into the draft. Then he got caught in his friends car with a bag of weed so he fell in the draft. Under the crappy coaching we had here for a while, he didnt look like anything special and I had trouble seeing how this guy had been ranked so high. Harbaugh and his staff show up and he really took off late last year and in the playoffs. He is only 27 and is a good corner. Great pickup.

Mccloughan has an eye for talent but was/is so hit or miss. He has that draft in 2007 and then takes Kentwan Balmer in the first round in 2008.

He makes a good additional scout. Not GM material.
