I am a bit concerned about the defensive secondary. This is the third game in which there seems to be some miscommunication or missed assignments. Part of it today was Peyton Manning. While he didn't seem to have the same zip on the ball he had two years ago, he still knows where to look and when to get it there. The steam may be gone but the accuracy is still there. Rodgers will be a good test. Hopefully Aldon and Brooks can bring some heat that has been sorely missed this PS.

No pass rush might be the issue here. Last year many QBs found it hard to set their feet after a few hits. Aldon and Bowman out, vanilla D...not worried yet.

Elite QBs dont just fall in our lap. They are hard to come by.
But its not like we have had a chance at an elite QB in the last 8 years....

haha nice one, but Alex sitting behind farve for 4 years an staying in one system could win a superbowl, an rodgers could have been the one with 2 blow shoulders and 2 fired coachs. We were a s**tty team, Either way aaron wouldn't have stayed upright or healthy, and we be making the same excuses for rodgers that we do alex.

I saw the thread title... thought "what noob posted this kind of thread" and then was not surprised when I saw who the OP was.

Im not really gonna get into that. Because it's been exhausted to death.

But just looking at the tendencies of each QB....Alex is just a lot more conservative and careful by nature.
He tends to look shorter for recievers than exploit match ups in one-on-one coverage unless its vernon.

I think Rodgers up to this point definitely has had more weapons than Alex...

Its probably gonna take at least mid-way through the season for Alex to get comfortable with his receivers and trust them. You see the results of trust with vernon.
