he also said last years lost in the NFCC is not in their minds still

I wonder what first pops in their heads, every time they first see Kyle in the morning.

So how did Mossy seem at the podium? Was he in a good mood?
He seemed standoffish at first but he really got into it and I loved what he was saying.

Exactly, doesn't mean they hate his guts though.

I hate "what if's" , but I've always wondered, what if it was Ginn who fumbled that ball in OT? Would he have been treated the same way as Kyle Williams? Would fans have been more forgiving towards Ginn?

I think the players say it best and the fans should take the same approach, that was last year, time to move on from it, s**t happens.

In my eyes, it just wasn't meant to be

We all share it, it sucked when it happened, it still sucks now. I just think about it less because the new season is around the corner and hope we do what we could have done last year

well it would've been surprising if it were Ginn who made those mistakes....he would get the benefit of the doubt...sure he would be hated for a bit...but it wouldn't have been a head scratcher decision to keep him out there, or send him out there in the first place.

Kyle has ALWAYS looked uncomfortable back there and would make the wrong decision... like try to take a ball out close to the endzone, or misjudge a ball...he just never gave you a good feeling..or at least to me. Same thing with Reggie Smith when we tried putting him back there.

I wasn't really more pissed with Kyle (I was pissed at him when he tried to act like the ball didn't hit his leg)...but I was more pissed at the coaching staff. They were too stubborn, and they chose to show their stubbornness at the wrong time. It was obvious that when Kyle is back there, he usually tries to make plays when he doesn't need to...being buried in our receiver corps for awhile, I'm sure in his eyes he wants to show what he can do soo bad that, that his decisions come off selfish. Our whole team moto is to protect the ball, and ALL game that was evident that was not on his mind first and foremost.

but again, I blame the coaching staff...Harbaugh included. It wasn't surprising Kyle was making mistakes early on...but from there the coaching staff should've said, "oooook that was not totally unexpected....but this is not the time to see if Kyle can bounce back and redeem himself" it was the f'n NFCC game.
