Downfield focus is a football term. It's when a QB goes sharply through his reads without showing trepidation of the oncoming rush. Composed.

Also glad to see the D have some troubles so they don't get cocky.

This kid is sounding like a natural. Coaches say he is very smart, large and athletic. What else do you need? I hope the best for Boone, but this kid sounds like he's at home at guard. I'd rather have Boone as a back up tackle anyway.


Edit: Also really excited to hear about AJ.Jenkins. Looks like the kid is getting over the butterflys.

Its also sounding more and more like Johnson might be the odd man out.

Smith's field vision, downfield focus, remains a constant. Coaching has a lot to do with it, having the same offensive staff for a change.
