Thanks for the answer sonoco.

Just ran into these while looking through the training camp photos.

25 pictures from the work area.... anyone following along I'd recommend checking these out. Looks a lot bigger from down there than from on top of 49ers HQ. Didn't realize those rods were that tall and the bolts were that big. Just hover over the picture and there are area buttons to go back and forth.

Nice! Thanks alot! Any more info you guys can tell us about whats going on would be great!
WOW....Jed said steel would be going up in the morning but WOW it's going up fast!!!
DUDE!!!

Did you guys see how far along they are? Holy crap there is an actual structure there now! Damn they moved FAST!
Love seeing how much work they've done so far today, amazing
well

building a frame vs wiring/ details

frame should be faster
They're flying. Speaking of competition, four crews at each corner of the building probably have their own little competition going to see who can (safely) hang the most pounds or pieces of steel per day.
Yea this is great except pretty soon we won't be able to watch cuz they'll be out of camera site..... need to get Jed to tell them to install another live cam :-)

I was watching during lunch and one of the guys was up in the middle of the beam and waiting for another beam and started dancing a jig! Geesh... what a brave sucker!!

Do those guys have any kind of harness?

Ok guys 2 more pretty informative videos to watch. Says they have 14,000 pieces to put up and each crane do 50 a day. So the 4 (one in each corner) equals 200 per day which would take 70 days to get to 14,000 at that pace. So that's August and Sept and a few days into October. That's probably why they figure in Oct they will start having a night crew do inside work and start putting in the seat type stuff.

Very good videos to watch. Very informative stuff in there. Hope they keep moving along at this pace.

One thing I was wondering about though was the bridge that they said would be used to park tv broadcasting trucks. I was under the impression that people would use that to get to the stadium from the Hilton hotel parking lot and the Great America parking lot. I guess they will build more walkways/bridges over that little water flowage for that.

each of the crossbeams has a cable attached on each side that they can connect their waist harnesses to and then slide along the beam. The beams currently in the frame have had these removed since yesterday
