Im soooo happy that they traded both Haralson and Cam Johnson right now, gonna be awesome when Aldon is suspended or potentially, eventually incarcerated.
That's why we have at least 13 draft picks for 2014. I think we will be fine. 2 years running now with optimal success. Give this regime half a chance.

What the hell is coach doing by saying the team wont take any action? Is there a double standard? Sure seams that way.
Ah triple doubles double standards. We're the San Francisco 49ers. We can do whatever we want to!
hey guys, as some of you know I used to run a UNC and a 49ers site but have since left the blogging world. I have a close friend with a sports blog and I've agreed to help him get it off the ground a bit. I decided to put something together on the Aldon Smith situation, would appreciate it if you guys gave it a quick read. Link below:

Good god I understand hes been dumb like pretty much every 23 year old in the country, but people are making it sound like he is some crazy criminal who beats children and pushes old people in front of buses.

He had to have been passed out since the wheels on the car were still spinning. The picture posted shows lots of burned rubber.

Thats what the witness said too. Gotta be pretty drunk to stay asleep at the wheel before during and after the impact of hitting a tree.

That tree basically saved him from a major accident.

People are overreacting here (what's new) but I have zero respect for people who drink and drive. I don't want to sound too hypocritical cause I do it from time to time if I got a buzz going and I don't want to walk home—and I'm sure the majority of us here have done the same many times—but if he was that f**ked up to crash into a damn tree AND has a history of doing this before, he's just a flat out moron. You don't have to look hard to find hundreds of stories of people driving drunk and crashing into another car and wiping out an entire family.

He's gotten lucky, but that tree very easily could've been a couple of kids walking to school in the morning. It's reckless and there is no excuse for it. The part where he didn't even know what happened after he crashed is very alarming.
Dude is seriously lucky to not be dead.
Anyone know what pills he had? Sounds like he was mixing barbiturates, or something wild. Definitely not an upper and you're not going to kill your liver mixing alcohol and pain pills.

Dude is riding a line.

He's going to have escalators in his next contract for going through a season with no arrests

he better, the only positive out of any of this is the fact that the 49ers now have some leverage to not give him a record contract after the season.
Good thing that tree was there or he might have crashed right into harbaugh's glass house.
His blood alohol level was .015, which it's drunk but not so drunk that one would typically pass-out behind the wheel. I'd bet you dollars to donuts that he was mixing the alcohol with pills or weed or both. Then he shows up to work 3.5 hours later? That's insane! This man is developing a negative off the field track record quickly!

How many times is this guy going to put himself into compromised situations before he wises up? All the talent and opportunity in the world and too immature to handle all that comes with it. I don't think the concern is "over reaction" at all. His effing up is showing the signs of a trend, not an aberration. 9'ers need to assign him a babysitter.
