Moss singing makes sense with Morgan leaving. Cox makes sense with the possibility of Rogers leaving. The signings of Brooks, Grant, Brock, and the tagging of Goldson, it seems like they have a pretty good plan in place to me. Our defense is still in tact for the most part, our Oline is still in tact, we've added depth we've lost at WR, and CB. We still have the ENTIRE FA left. Not to mention the addition of players in the draft.

I'm sorry but when you see teams like the Bears get Marshall for TWO 3rd round picks, Morgan getting signed for cheap , the Redskins completely upgrading their WR corps when they less cap room then us and remembering the NFC championship game with our WR's catching 1 pass for 4 yards, ya I get pissed. Ya we could get Wallace but I would rather have had Marshall giving a 2nd this year and 3rd next year.

Bears didn't make the playoffs, neither did the Redskins. Again we do not have as many voids as these teams. We were one game away from the Super Bowl. And again our defense is still in tact for the most part. The best defense in the league. Our offensive line has guys like Staley, Davis, Iupati, Gooden already in place. Alex Smith is going to resign. Kendall Hunter is a there to back-up Gore. We have our starting T.E. We have guys like Chris Culliver, Bruce Miller, Aldon Smith who are all only in there 2nd year and all most likely starters next year.

I understand that it would be nice to get a big name WR but at the same time there is still plenty of time.

ya your probably right. They should just shut this site down, because none of us can change anything anyway. Don't forget to tell the guys in the Draft area to scrap all their mock drafts

thank you! so many people said they trust in baalke and coach and will be laid back and now the 1st day of FA arrived and so many are in panic and loose their composure. relax guys, our roster will be fine.
I know. I was one of those guys I must admit. But after letting Morgan walk, and now not re-signing Costonzo I must admit that I have major concerns about our roster. I really hope things pan out and Baalke's plan proves smarter than me.

Why do you keep insisting that Morgan's salary is cheap?

Because its not a rookie contract, its a 2nd contract. Completely different. He was at the very least going to make a couple mil a year been a young #2 WR. But the Skins can just walk away after 2 years if he doesn't realize his immense potential.

Yeah, but even for a second contract, his production doesn't warrant what he got paid. He had one season at almost 700 yards and never scored more than three touchdowns in a season. Even if they walk away after two years, they're still paying him 7.5 million guaranteed. And I guess we just differ on his potential. I don't see it personally.

And that fact that people keep insisting his role on the team when he wasn't even part of the team for a good part of the season. Would he have been an upgrade over Bret Swain? Yeah, but it's Bret Swain.

You kind of made my point for me. Yes we don't have as many needs as those teams, but we have a bigger hole than both of them, We are now in the same company as the Browns and Jags with the worst WR corps in the league. With such a solid overall team as you have stated, it should be that much easier to focus on a specific need.

At least it's only loose and they didn't completely lose it
