We won't resign carlos rodgers, so I think culliver will step up and be awesome, or he will be the new mike rumph and get abused.

I like Tukuafu and Demarcus Dobbs. Put them in the rotation. Vic Fangio will get most of his horses back on defense, maybe a couple more guys on defense through FA or draft. This defense will come at you all day and all year. They will rough up a few #1 offenses in the league.

I'm also hoping Kilgore pans out and gets some PT. He and Boone should benefit from camp.

Partly new blood and getting rid of players from the old regime but don't be surprised if our new regime is that confident they can let over paid good players go and that they will have the backups ready to replace them or be able to sign a cheaper FA or draft someone to take over. When you get a system with coaches and players like Pittsburgh or NE you can say next coach up or next player up. No need to over pay players or be afraid to let good players go. They probably won't desperately hold on to players like in the past regimes because they had little talent and little ability to develop players. Not saying they don't want these guys back but they aren't going to panic if it doesn't happen... they have backup plans.

Total confidence in upper management and coaching staff to make the right choices.
It wold be great if Kilgore/Pearson could step in and play at a high level. Then we could use our draft choices a little differently. I could see Boone replacing Staley in a couple of years.
I really like Brandon Carr. He is a qualiity player and is 26 years old.

Goldson was drafted in the 4th round to become one of the best safety in the league. So it's very possible to get good talent later in the draft. And with this coaching staff I think they are capable of quicker development of players compare to previous coaching staff.

I hope we re-sign Rogers because I think Culiver is not ready.

I agree... I really like culliver, but I still think he's a #3.... a #2 in a pinch. I think he'll be good one day, just not now.

Some players missed their window, too. Zeigler had a shot for a bit.

not really. He never stood out on gameday even when given the chance. I think he was always just good enough to be a camp body
