Smith reaction after The Catch #3

He was telling the Saints D and sideline "WE DAT! WE DAT!"

I think the entire team was mentally exhausted after the end of that game and that explains a lot of the reactions and how different people deal with stress. Vernon cries, Smith is just a cool cookie.

A sports writer tried to bait alex into saying something about all of his critics. most would have taken the change to give the boot to them but alex showed pure class.very impressed with that

Not to be a buzzkill, but there's only one The Catch in my book. The other two were perfectly placed passes that I would have been incredibly pissed off about if we didn't catch it.

On one hand, it is nice they compare yesterdays throw to the catch one and two,, on the other hand I sort of wish they would stop it. This should be all about alex and vernon.I guess overall it is nice they are able to carve out a piece of niner history after what they have been through since 2005.

This, I hve never seen alex trash talk, but it sure as hell looked like he was saying something.

I wanted us to win at least one playoff game, but now we cant rest we have to make it to the superbowl

I dont think the intent was to compare them (besides how freakishly similar VD was to TO on the play) but instead to say "This was a play that just changed Niners history yet again" which I completely agree with. I dont know if I agree with the Catch 2 being named it, because the Niners were already a great team and stuff. Yeah it was an amazing play, but the Catch was the Catch because it was a band of misfits, nobodies and everyone said couldnt do it and htye proved EVERYONE wrong on that one play. That's exactly how I feel about this one.

Check out the Niners - Ravens SoundFX segment. There's a play where Suggs tries to chase down Smith for the sack and can't. Suggs is standing there looking at his teammate and Alex comes running by and shouts "Almost" at him, taunting him. Loved it.
