Unfortunately, the original standard definition network footage from 1982 isn't that crisp. Back in those days most of us only had 19" TV's that could display about 250 lines of resolution max. The analog taping equipment the networks used to record then weren't that much higher in resolution as well.
never knew why this game (and others, like the Catch 2, wild card vs giants, etc) wasn't included in the 49ers "greatest games" dvd set (which only consists of the 5 super bowls)
of course, dallas , GB, pittburgh, even the f--ing giants have their memorable reg season/postseason in addition to super bowl included in their dvd sets...
Don't forget "The Stand" against the Eagles years ago. That was a hell of a 7 play series from inside the 1!!

I had a Ticket to the game and gave it away, as I wanted to watch this game with all my friends, and we did after the game we all ran around the block NAKED!! (with drinks in hand) It was one huge party night in San Francisco. I never seen the city like that night. IT WAS ONE HUGE PARTY.

Watching it now. First impressions. I can't believe the O-line waits to get down on their 3 point stance until the QB yells "SET!" Receivers in 3 point stance??? Lastly, the game has sped up so much in the last 30 years.
BTW I'm still cheering like it was live.

I'm 20 and watching this confirms my belief that Joe is the best QB of all time. For those of you who got to see him play, I am truly jealous. Nobody else looks as calm and cool as him. It's crazy.
