I was watching with my dad in our house in SF. I was a junior in high school and I almost punched a hole in our ceiling when I jumped out of the chair when Clark made The Catch.

Off campus housing in Fullerton, CA. I was watching the game on a 13" TV in my room. After the game I shot off bottle rockets in celebration.

I was 21 about to turn 22 and to this day it is hard to describe the feeling i had. It was like the stench of the joe thomas and oj simpson era had just vanished in one crazy moment. feel free to have at it!
i remember at some point hearing john madden say montana could be tackled for a safety as he ran off the field with the ball at the end. was this days later ? anybody else recall this?
