Saints fan here, just stopping by to say congrats on a great season so far and good luck this weekend. Should be one heck of a game. I think we can all agree that whoever wins this one needs to stomp the heck out of the Packers (or, good Lord willing, the Giants) and represent in the Super Bowl.

That is something I agree with

So i just posted that Roman Harper got injured and the thread got deleted and then someone else posted it and that one got deleted. WTF? He is THE GUY in their run defense and we are a RUN FIRST team. Dont you think thats kind of important information?

Edit: NVM it just got moved to NFL talk. >_<

It's a pretty sure bet that when something stinks in the NFL, it's probably the guys with cheese on their heads.

It's definitely a blow to the blitz packages and 46-style defense Williams likes to run in short yardage. Frankly, though, having Harper on the field for passing downs is probably a big help to you guys. Guy gets burned worse than a Packer fan on a beach.

I hope so. That means the Saints'll be playing the Giants in the NFCCG.

Any given Sunday, right? I think the Giants' best game is better than the Packers' worst game. That gives them a shot.

RT @JeffDuncanTP injury to Roman Harper is new one and its significant. Harper is key to #Saints run D. > Did not practice due to ankle.

He'll play; this is the s**t that scares me, players getting hurt during warmups and practice. -Don't care who we're facing, do not wish this crap for nobody!
I think the Gmen can win for the same reason they beat the Pats in 07, their front 4 can generate tremendous pressure. But truth be told I believe the tragedy that has transpired with the OC in Green Bay is going to strengthen that team and they probably win on emotion alone. Awful situation that is much bigger than football, obviously, but I think in relation to football the Packers will be playing with a different purpose than normal.

I too think the Giants are gonna beat the Packers. The Packer o line is s**t right now and Giants D Line is gonna Tee off on Rodgers

hey huck, how do you think aubrayo franklin played this year? is he still a run stuffing, 2-gap space eater like he was with the niners?

I've enjoyed watching him play. One of the unfortunate side effects of the Williams defense is that the DTs don't put up monster games. He's a great block-occupier and space-eater, though. If the Saints had a better linebacking corps, he'd be making more of an impact in my opinion.
