One thing not being talked about - the audible battle between Vilma and Smith. Vilma has the same authority with the defense that Brees has with the offense, and is empowered to change anything about the defense on the field. I'll be fascinated to watch the chess match with Smith during this game.

Despite Jim Harbaugh saying that Delanie Walker probably wouldn't play Saturday, he's listed as questionable on 49ers' injury report.

That ain't good
Some cold hard facts ..since you guys seem to think you cant get enough

According to Elias .com

No team with a defense ranked in the bottom 3 has ever won a Superbowl..

Scratch G.B and New England

No team with an offense ranked lower than 8th has won a Superbowl..

Hmm Scratch the 9rs.. Broncos..and whoever else..

So it looks to be

the Saints -Giants NFCC

And Houston- Baltimore AFCC

looks like we might have a gulfcoast Superbowl..with the Saints beating the Texans..

Look it up

Your pass rush and secondary got worse.

Injuries for the Seahawks game, number one. Malcolm Jenkins, moreso than Harper, is a key to the Williams defense. He has huge range on the field and a great nose for the ball. Backup safeties can step up and give some production like Harper gives - just not quite as much. If Jenkins were out for this game, I'd be very, very nervous.

The Saints' linebackers, as "middle-of-the-road" as they are (if you can even call them that) this year were horrendous last year. The loss of Fujita in free agency after the Super Bowl was much worse than it should have been. There are at least some roleplayers this year who can make a few things happen.

Lance Moore was just ruled OUT for the game tomorrow. That's a blow to the Saints' offense.

Adrian Arrington can't replace Moore. Sproles can, but then there's no Sproles/Moore combo on the field to split the ILBs in coverage.

according to CHFF, no team with a defensive passer rating worse than 83 has ever won a championship. The Saints DPR for 2011 is 86.4.

Looks like Baltimore-San Francisco to me.

All kinds of fail here

Ravens won a super bowl in 2000 with the 14th ranked offense.
