The Saints will get a lot of yards against us like the Giants and Eagles - probably 400 yards total offense. Our D will not tire like the Lions D and will not give them long running plays out of the shotgun. I bet we'll be in nickel and dime all of the game. The Saints will get 3 to 4 scores against us, probably touchdowns. The big question will be whether our O can get into the endzone against the Saints D. Our O will move the ball against the Saints D given their performance against a one dimensional offense. 27-24 49ers.

interesting stat: In last years playoff game against the Saints, the Seahawks only rushed 5 or more players only 5 times in Brees' 62 drop backs. he was 4-5 for 45 Yards and atd when they did rush more than 5.

all the lions had to do was stop them on 3rd or 4th down like twice and they might have had some momentum. We will stop drew brees, and thomas, and ingram.. not so sure about sproles

Detroit had their chance to go up 14-0 or 21-7 in the first half and couldn't do it. You have to keep the pressure on the Saints the full game. The refs though helped the Saints big time--especially that 3rd down play when they were stopped at their 17--but given the first down at the 18----then drove all the way to lead 24-14---ugh.

Gonna be hard to do with two All Pro guards protecting the front of the pocket. Nicks and Evans keep things so clean that Brees can almost always step into each throw. Tonight was just ridiculous against that very good Detroit front four. Those guys have put pressure on just about everyone but tonight those two just stonewalled Suh and Redding on passing plays.
