weve ran a lot of slants
id like to see more slants int he red zone however we are too conservative and run too much down there
i agree we need to run more screens
id also like to see more "checkdown" passes to the RBs
dont agree on putting kaep in though maybe if we need a hail marry or something otherwise smarter to keep alex in

I would like to see some audibles,all I see is AS going in circles with his hands with man in motion ,even i know that is a run, don't we have more than that.? We better do more than run in the middle, JIM don't forget screens .plsssss

hes called many audibles and it doesnt mean a run
ive seen at least 10 plays where its a pass

You guys do know if we do draw New Orleans , it will be Baltimore all over again , we need mass protection for Smith, and a lot more blitzing on defense . Should be a game for the ages .Lets hope Harbaugh has few tricks up his sleeve.

They'll blitz for sure, but I don't think any game will be as bad a Baltimore. New Orleans' secondary isn't as solid so if our o-line can hold up long enough Alex may be able to make some big plays for us. It's the Saints offense I'm more concerned with...

I am not an Alex hater, but lets see him complete those one or two passes that he misses every game that could be big plays or touchdowns. Overall the play by Alex is solid, however these one or two passes each game would elevate his play to very good.
Continue to run the fly sweep. We've ran it successfully several times this year and when they playoffs arrive the play action off that play could go for a big gain.The other teams know that we have picked up some crucial third downs with that play and will be waiting on it and we can hit it big with a good play fake by Alex. The screen pass is there also. Id prefer to run it with Hunter because he seems to have the better hands. We've only run a couple of screens this year and I don't want to see a possible big play slip through our hands because Gore drops the ball.
I know we are hurting at receiver but for at least one drive in the first playoff game lets put Kapernick in there and let him run the Tim Tebow tripple option offense. With an anemic offense we don't have anything to use if it doesn't work. Kapernick is capable of running for a big yards or hitting a couple of passes.
But first lets beat the Lambs and get that bye.
if we did not do it all year , why would you think we will start doing it in the playoffs !

smith has one of the best ratings against the blitz
problem is when players come unblocked

Agreed. If we get TDs instead of FGs, we'd be one of the highest scoring teams in the league. We would have blown out Seattle in the 3rd Q last week.
