Or is he going to get snubbed out by Antrel Rolle again like he did back in 09'? Im not saying Antrel Rolle is having a pro bowl season or anything. But is there really any other free safety in the NFC playing better than Dashon right now?

I agree. Pay him or tag him. He has played great worthy of a high asking price and when Reggie Smith comes in the level of play isn't the same. Reggie ALWAYS takes bad angles as well.

just wish he'd form tackle a little better. he almost let brown i think get away when he went really high and then there was a play he torpedoed culliver and almost made him miss a tackle

While I dont think he is worth top 5 money as a FS, he is worth it to this team since there is no one close to him in talent waiting to take over on the roster.

If he were just faster to the corners of the field, he would be All Pro, but its rare to see him maintaining his bracket coverage when Receivers run fades along the sideline. But we got cap space so might as well spend it on homegrown talent.
