I'm thinking of driving down to catch the Niners v Rams on Sunday. Is it a cool place to watch the game? Is it hard to get a table when the Niners are on? Do they show the game on nice HD Flat Screens?
Its about a 40 min drive from my place. Is it worth the drive?
Any feedback from those of you who have been will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's just like being in a home crowd bar. Packed with Niners fans. The only thing is there is very limited seating, and most people get there really early. So if you want to show up, don't get there after kickoff...probably about 30 mins before would be a safe bet. Otherwise you'll be sitting far from an ideal viewing angle of the tv's.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So do they have decent TVs or some old a** rear projection box?

They got rid of the old rear projection TV's. They have an assortment of HDTV's almost all the way around, but they are pretty small when you take distance into account. So if you are seated near the window side, you'll find yourself sitting alone, since they are almost 16-20 feet away from 42 inch TV's.
The food is decent too. The avocado burger and spinach salad are quite good. It's usually pretty easy to find parking on the back street or just valet your car. It's only a few bucks.

its a cool place, but unless you get there pretty early be prepared to fight for seats at the bar, its definitely a good sports bar environment though.
Another cool place (ive never actually been to a BWW) is Big Wangs depending on where you live, I know the owners so I have a bit of a bias, but their places have some of the best just pure sports bar feelings, and really awesomely done coverage on the large, large variety of TV's. The one on the corner of Ivar and Selma in Hollywood practically has a flatscreen for every table, plus two large projectors.

My sister and her BF live in Santa Monica and go there. They said the food is pretty good, and it's fun

When I briefly lived in Santa Monica I would hit this place up for Niners games.
Echoing other's sentiments, it gets packed so get there early. Tons of people, all Niners fans, a great place to be if you're not in the city itself.

just remembered the worst experience i had there...
last years MNF saints game, my roommate and I got there about 20 minutes before the game, and managed to snag a couple poorly placed bar stools.
Even more unfortunate than our locational viewing predicament was the dude sitting next to us who may have been the most overly dramatic fan I have ever encountered, who would also attempt to facetalk us about s**t completely unrelated to the NFL. And what made that more unforunate was that there was one large man occupying the largest booth in the bar, by himself, which should not be effing allowed. (they don't allow this at Big Wangs)

It's a cool place. There is an old black guy who is bascially the man in that place. He's die hard and and get the crowd riled up haha. I always enjoy this place except when we start losing. Crowd there is basically Niner Talk (specifically the game day thread mixed with the Alex thread) in live form. One play Alex is the next Montana and the next he's a limp dick loser who needs to be cut IMMEDIATELY. Last time I was there, we were WINNING, and some guy was in the back raving about how we should have kept Nate Davis and that Singletary got shafted, etc.

I went there several years back when I was visiting my parents and my brother and I realized that the game wasn't going to be shown locally. So I asked here and someone referred me to the SF Saloon.
It was a bit of a drive from my parents house (it's in Culver City/Santa Monica), but we had a fun time, and it was a 49er win too. (it was the year we started out 2-0 under Nolan and beat the Rams in Week 2).
Food was good, and the people seemed friendly...so I recommend.
