By my calculations, if we lose to Pittsburgh, we would own the Tie Breaker over the Saints for the 1st round bye, since only one of our losses is to an NFC team and we haven't played the Saints and they have 3 NFC losses. The only remaining game where we won't be heavily favored is the Pittsburgh game. If we do lose that game, I don't see it as that big of a deal since it will be another loss to an AFC team. Assuming we win the next two after that and the prior two, and end up tied with the Saints, we'd still have the 1st round bye.
On the other hand, losing that game would show that we can't hang with high level teams, which they all will be in the playoffs. Also if GB happens to lose two games to the Giants, Lions and/or Bears and we lose the Pittsburgh game, we'd lose out on home field advantage throughout the playoffs. I just don't see GB losing two games.
So if we happen to lose to the Steelers, will you be really pissed or just think that it doesn't matter too much in the overall playoff picture. I'd still be relatively upset as I'll be at the game. And of course always want the Niners to win.

Unless, GB loses two NFC games. If we win out, we'd own the Tie breaker over GB. To win out we'd have to beat the Steelers.
But I do agree with you as I don't see GB having the losses.

Steelers is a big game for seeding and I really want to see if the offense has fixed the problems they had against the Ravens. Playing in Seattle is always tough so that will also be a big game.

I wonder if he's going to call John about the Steelers or is he super competitive to the point where he wants to prove he can beat them without any help

I'm thinking if it means the Ravens get a game up on the Steelers, I'm thinking that JOHN will probably Call Jim and tell him all the info he wants, regardless of whether or not Jim wants to hear it. lol

I hope we don't come out flat in Seattle in a few weeks. That place is always hell for us to play at.
