I'm already at 28, and these guys are all Hall-of-Famer's or will be soon.
Warner 1
Brees 1
Ben Roethlisberger 2
Jim Plunkett 2
Joe Theismann 1
Ken Stabler 1
Aaron Rogers 1
Total of 9.
Some of these guys are border line Hall-of-Famer's or will be in the future. The rest of them have been to multiple pro-bowls.
Therefore, a total of 37 out of 45 Super Bowls have been won by quarterbacks who are either in the Hall-of-Fame, will be in the Hall-of-Fame, or have been All-Pro's / Pro Bowl quarterbacks multiple times.
That means there are 8 Super Bowls won by quarterbacks that don't quite fit this description. Out of those 8, most of those Super Bowls were won by teams that had elite defenses of All-Time.
The Bucs, Ravens, Bears all had top 5 All-Time defenses. The Giants, Redskins and Raiders Super Bowl teams were some of the few teams that won some of their Super Bowls without either super elite quarterbacks or super elite defenses.
Arguably, only about five Super Bowls were won without either elite quarterbacks or super elite defenses. One thing those teams did have however, was ELITE COACHING. I think our team might just have that this year. So we certainly have a shot.
